Hello, i'd like to start making a game with a friend, using ags, but we're trying to get familiar with the software before starting the actual work for the game. Could someone please tell me how to make the character walk in perspective, along with the background? Our scenes rely on 1-2, maybe even 3 point perspective, and we need to get the character to 'shrink' in the distance. It'd be great if someone could help. Thanks!
Arr! Tea? Eff Emm

This is scary.
Thanks a lot! This stuff is pretty intuitive, but i probably wouldn't have realised that through trial and error. Thanks again!
Hello, it's me again! Thought it wouldn't be too nice to open a new topic, so i'll just post this here. We've messed around a bit in ags, came up with some (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/1003/Morriperkele/junk/liekawesome3.jpg)fun (http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b66/homeworld4/crap/heh.jpg)stuff (http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b66/homeworld4/crap/heh2.jpg), but i'd like to ask several questions. First, how do you get rid of that ugly grey bar on the top of your screen? How do you make a text description pop up every time you put your mouse on an item? Like 'wooden box' when you hover over a box, or 'door' over a door. How do you drop a shadow from the characters? Only need an inanimate blob or something. That's all, i think. Sorry if this is answered somewhere :(
Dude ... read the manual.
Or indeed the BFAQ: Getting rid of that big grey status bar at the top (http://americangirlscouts.org/agswiki/index.php/GUI%2C_Inventory_%26_Menu#Getting_rid_of_that_big_gray_status_bar_at_the_top) and/or Adding score/hotspot info to the big grey bar (http://americangirlscouts.org/agswiki/index.php/GUI%2C_Inventory_%26_Menu#Adding_score/hotspot_info_to_the_big_grey_status_bar).
A couple of forum searches wouldn't go amiss, either. They should reveal a few more (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?topic=19139.0) interesting (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?topic=23328.0) ways, and most other answers (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?topic=20334.0) you want.
