Hahaha, no Jakerpot, you need to win the competition to draw trophies =P
But, not to be so greedy, If there's more participants (now 8), than the trophies I drew (now 10), I'll let you draw the rest, if you want.

On a side note, I changed the trophies, because they sucked.

The winner (by vote) will get the gold trophy, and I'll dish out the rest.

Jide, tracing is fine. It's not the best way to learn drawing, but it's not exactly a cardinal sin.

So please don't lie about it next time, just come clean and get over it.

I must agree with the others, Jide.

How dare you pick a recognizable building to base your background on. Don't you know that using a reference opens you up to accusations of tracing, which (morally speaking) is worse than eating a newborn baby while punching its mother in the face?

I mean, what did you expect when you posted a decent looking but not spectacular background on a forum full of strangers? That we would give you the benefit of the doubt about your abilities and offer you helpful criticism like decent human beings? This is the internet.

ok so i traced... but it certainly wasn't an image off the internet!! it was indeed a picture i took myself.

Joking really. Right, if you don't like it, make a new one, and I'll replace it.

On a side note, I get the impression that people first draw backgrounds, then see what they remind them of, than pick a feeling and draw a backgroud from it.

Chip in anything you have while there's still some time left, 'cause the competition ends on the 5th of February at 00:00 straight. The voting starts at 00:01 and lasts 'till the 10th at 00:00.

Please vote on the categories (all three), and I'll count 'em up when the voting period is over. The winner takes the golden trophy, and the rest of the trophies....will be awarded in a *fair* fashion. =P
