BG Blitz - 16th April - 29th April

Ok, this is my first one of these, so i'll try to make it interesting. Ive always preferred interior BG drawing to exterior, so that's what this one is going to be, and your theme/title for this BG is:

'The Old Kitchen'

320x200
256 colours

I started one, but already realised i didn't like it.. it was gonna have a melting candle on the table, with a old fire in the background..

Can you make a high colour BG and have your favourite graphics program downgrade it to 256, or do you need to handpick your 256 colours?

sure, you can do that then have it limited to 256 colours, ill spare you the tedium of handpicking 256 colours this time!

I felt like entering, dunno why ^^. Not a big fan of indoors either.

It should become a jpg file but my program always changed it back to 24bit colours when I saved it as jpg. That's why it's png now ...

Well i guess admin permitting we could let it go on until this friday? There hasnt really bneen enough entries so far to make it a fair competition, and the downtime does account for some of that im guessing.
