RULES:
Fill in the shape with a banner or a flag
It doesn't have to be cutlery themed, you can draw whatever you like
You can use as much colors as you need and also color the outline
You may rotate the shape and resize if you really need to, but not too much
And most importantly, have fun and be nice to others!

Oh, great King Fork, I bow down before thee and present a humble and yet touching tale mayhaps worthy of a banner in thine most marvelous of throne rooms...
The Sad Tale Of The Wilted Spork

Neither spoon nor fork, our spork was mocked as a freak of nature in the provincial village of his birth...
Nevertheless, upon adulthood, he gathered the courage to set out upon a quest, which I might perhaps be allowed to embroider into this most humble of banners if thou wouldst but grant me your royal patience long enough whilst I weave his sorry tale:
(Which is represented, however poorly by mine hand, in the four panels of this most unworthy of banners)
One fine morning our spork packed his suitcase, threw open the door of his cottage, and strode out into the world, full of boldness, spit, and vinegar.
He used the last of what little money he had to catch the first train bound for the big city. His dream, indeed his quest, was to find work in the big city that only he, as a spork, would be able to do. Thus he would become rich, famous, and adored beyond his wildest dreams.
The big city was a vast and confusing place for a humble country-born spork, and he wandered its streets until well after dark when, finally, on the outskirts of the city, a pink neon sign on the roof of a small restaurant shone out as a beacon of hope and deliverance. He dashed towards the shack!
Out of breath, his spork heart beating wildly, he arrived at the shack and cast his glance upwards to the pink neon sign that adorned the roof of the restaurant...This would be it! This would be the one place a spork could work and achieve the fame that no other cuttl... "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!" cried the spork in horror as he read the sign. The last of his strength faded from him and he wilted in despair.

As you can see, the shield is divided in four in order to create different fields to accommodate emblems or figures as a result of marriage alliances, inheritance, concessions and pretensions of domains.
You can clearly see coat-of-arms of the Grand Gourmands family (Top-left), of the Mustache Chefs family (top-right), of the Holy Cake Empire (bottom-left) and of the Sacred Fried Chicken Realm (bottom-right).

I just updated my original post up there ^^ with my entry instead of making a new one because I liked the toadying-to-the-king tone of the original too much...
I will probably re-work just a bit the central spork character before the deadline to make him a bit smoother and more plasticky, but for now, if it pleases thee justly, take in The Sad Tale Of The Wilted Spork...
EDIT: The reworking is done to mine satisfaction oh great and wise King Fork, I hast worked mine fingers to their very bones rethreading this tapestry in just the right configuration to try to capture the sporkiest spirit of mine protagonist, as unworthy as my efforts may have proven to be...
So yeah, in other, normal-world words...That's my entry into this competition right up there under the first post ^^

is a story behind my banner in my original entry post that might explain the design a bit better:
The Sad Tale Of The Wilted SporkI also realise that mine doesn't look much like a cloth banner: I tried some textures, embroidered borders, tassles etc, but found they either made the tiny pictures unrecognizable, or took too many valuable pixels away from the already limited space I had available to tell a four-panel story in.
