Welcome to the new Coloring Ball.

The theme this time is Methods of Transportation. Anything goes, a train, a car, a bus, a spaceship, a snowboard, no matter what, at least it has to be able to transport people. Or just goods. You don't even have to add passengers, but of course this is a nice extra touch.

What you can do:
Color the dark outline.
Rotate and also mirror the shape.
You can use all the color you like.

What you can't do:
You can't change the shape.
You can't distort the shape.
You can't make the shape bigger.

When my little girl was 3 years old she was so excited to see them... she told me... with a big smile... "Look daddy...! Is the Chihiro's dragon!"... and wherever we were she always called me to see them flying and we did "Byeeeee" with our hands... "byeeeee"... as I did when I was a kid ...

From these moments  I created this habit... every time i see a  plane across the sky I stop everything that I'm doing and look at the top in silence with a big smile... like a passenger... losting my mind in the infinity blue... oh man...in this times some people look at me with a strange face (lol)...  but i never care... I'm flying and I will never lose this heaven again...

hey Pindo, this is a great use of the shape. When I posted this topic I was worried for a moment that the shape is too mean, but now you got the ball rolling. I'm very interested in with what the other participants with spontaneous inspiration fill the shape.

I believe that memory was being excavated from the moment that Cassie has put her wonderful kite dragon ... beyond of a little joke also had a profound poetry about how the child's fantasy does not recognize "borders". As a boy I believed that the lost helium balloon always goes to the space ... just hope it was not shot down... probably many here also already thought about unusual things flying through space.

Then the next "shove" was a quick and pleasant conversation with Mandle about childhood. By the way my daughter thanked for that kind comment about her game's project!

Please let me present you a method of future transportation:


Here we have eight gondolas that transport you within the tube of that space elevator up to a platform in orbit to watch the stars (or mother earth - in rare case of missing clouds).

Lots of couples in love use to book a trip to represent the question of all the questions  (special discount during the week).   :wink:

Every now and then a gondola is put off to replace it with a little space shuttle. This shuttle will start its journey to outer space from the platform (this way an immense amount of fuel is saved).


btw.
For safety reasons, the entire system is operated exclusively by vocal control system. There are no buttons because it is told about some strange people that call themself AGS'er. They seem to be members of a support group and are unable to keep their fingers away from buttons. A hard training with special programs that don't allow to push the button will hopefully help them to recover - poor guys.    :grin:

I love blinking blinkenlights, so my ticket for the space elevator is already booked!

My concept was quite different though but actually today I had another inspiration that I think I will go with instead:

A flying aircraft carrier (kinda like the ones in The Avengers)

I will be working on it tonight...

Also: your elevator looks awesome for inclusion in a SimCity type game!

When I was about 10 years old I walked into the local video arcade called "Orbit", made my way through the cigarette smoke (yup...it was the 80's)...and saw a new game...

The name was weird and yet enticing: XEVIOUS...

As soon as I looked at the screen I was in love...I mean, what was going on!? There were spaceships flying around but the background was NOT space...Instead of some stars scrolling by we had a beautiful landscape: forests, rivers, lakes, roads...And a range of incredible pixel art enemies never before seen...

So for this entry I finally decided on a tribute to:


So yeah, Xevious had some awesome bosses but it never had a flying aircraft carrier that could deploy aircraft while you fought it so:

That was a very hard shape to fill and even harder after I saw the first entry that always appeared in my mind when I tried to find something else that might fit.
Thanks a lot for the little extra race, Mandle (I had fun to include a tiny Tabby because of it)  (laugh)
Now  we have to choose the best entry and again I have a hard time when watching all this well done pieces

I am very happy that pixel art wasn't required for the submissions because I am still in love with the first entry.
The idea and also the story behind it is heartwarming.
Those smooth sparkles give it a wonderful touch of a precious memory.
