I was walking to work today when I stumble into a very weird event happening in this empty lot!
A "building" was appearing and changing at every micro second! 8-0 It was so amazing the shapes and images inside, that I took my camera out and started shooting as many pictures as I could. I'm really looking forward to see those pictures as they come from the laboratory! I honestly have no idea of what I captured on film! (wrong)

What I am doing at the moment is looking at an image in my browser of the Mystery Shack and trying to draw it in pixel-art...I'm not copy/pasting any images or colours...I'm trying to do my best to eyeball the amazing tones of colour of the show, and also trying to build the Mystery Shack within the limited space of this colouring ball...
Both colour and drawing excercises are intended by me as educational experiences for myself...
But I'm out of time tonight, and have no idea if I can complete this entry in time...
So...here's the WIP...

It is always surprising for me how much different ways one can go to use a shape that at first you have no clue how to be filled.
Here's a bit of background info about mine:
I confess also to be one of those that are heavily influenced by Stephen Kings stories - but not this time (wrong)
It started by thinking about placing the start/stop place for timetravellers into the shape with a big advertising billboard on top.
So I started with a kind of 'Timetunnel' but at last the shape didn't work for the billboard to my liking and reminded me more of a boat. (http://www.allsmileys.com/files/kolobok/icq/30.gif)
That was the time to add a bit of 'Thrill Seekers' who can do their sightseeing tour in bigger groups at once by ship.
Now I would be able to let some people walk in the ship, looking out of a window and coming through the tunnel to get invisible when reaching the frame of the shape (because of their bracelet) ... the ideas didn't stop entering my brain ... - that was the reason for me to stop working on my entry and upload it - or it would take me endlessly for all to be done. So I uploaded it (and forgot to correct some errors that are now still in). (roll)

I didn't manage to squeeze quite as much Gravity Falls content into the space as I would have liked to have...But this is the limit of my pixel-art skills at the moment...
I'm proud to say though that I never resorted to copy/paste or ripping a colour from a screenshot: Everything was drawn by hand...well...mouse...and all colours were chosen manually while eyeballing some screenshots from the show...
It was a great educational experience that I will probably never repeat...But a hell of a lot of fun!!!
