Hi everyone, this is the new coloring ball:
The Monster Mona Lisa
What if Leonardo's most famous painting was the portrait of a terrible monster?

Note: There was a coloring comp (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/forums/index.php?topic=26661.msg337794#msg337794) about the Mona Lisa. But this is not about the Mona Lisa. This is about Da Monster-Mona-Lisa!
RULES:
Fill the shape with a monster figure. (it must not be the Mona Lisa of course)
The drawing must be consistent with the hands in the picture.
Fill the space at the bottom (on the frame) with your signature. Picture without signature can't be accepted.
What you can do:
Use all the colors you want
Color the black outline
What you can't do:
Remove the frame of the picture.
Remove the background.
Remove the hands.
Competition runs from July 7th to July 21st.

Looking through the old dusty attic, wiping away old spiderwebs, digging through tons of cardboardboxes and under old rugs and unused toys I found this old forgotten piece.

As far as I saw in other Coloring Ball competitions, the usual way is to rank 1st, 2nd 3rd...
And I think that's the best way to vote.
If we can't choose between two or more entries, we have to state 1st (or 2nd) "equally placed", but the total votes must be 3 entries.

3rd Arj0n â€" for the alien monster with obviously suicidal thoughts ~ because of the direction of the weapon â€" or is it filled with drugs like milk? :shocked: (laugh)
Since the rules state:

and there are only three entries that actually fulfill this requirement (the others added the name of the piece, not their signature*), so I will have to vote for them:
1.
Hobo: Because the image really works as a whole; both in art-style as in theme. I can also see this image being part of some scary apocalyptic tale with the snake and the cloaked
glowing eyed demon-like figure.
2.
Siliconangel: Because I like the art-style, and there's actually some sort of 'what if Mona Lisa were...'-question in there.
3.
Cassiebsg: It's weird...I really have no idea what to make of it...but that mouth and eyes are just plain scary.
There were some really creative entries in there...and some of you should really seek out professional help. There's something really disturbing about you walking around unsupervised.
* ok, strictly speaking these three are also doubtful to have painted their real signatures, but at least it's their forum-name. So to me it's true to the rule.

Well yes, but it's ok. It was not mandatory to put the forum name, so even if someone put the "title", I can think it's a signature... As instance, Mawna Liza could be the signature of that weird artists. But, thaks for pointin that. :-)

I claim that it probably, likely, possibly, wouldn't have changed my votes anyway :) - But the fact that it was hard to choose, meant I just had to use some arbitrary reasoning.
Although I do admit that I too would be disappointed with Ghost if - from now on - he doesn't sign his posts with Mawna Liza. Then again...I would also be disappointed to find out that none of these paintings are self-portraits. Especially Arj0n's, because that's spot on how I always imagined him...her...it.
