Not an entrry, I drew this last week for a different competition. I just thought it was appropriate:

man that's funny :D
good job. To bad it's not an entry
I'll enter this, I fancy trying my skills with my new graphics tablet I got the otehr day.
Watch this space for Captain Fantastic and his legion of do-gooders! Name could change, but this sounds funny :P
EDIT: Didn't appeal to me when I started to draw, so I'm doing the following:
The adventures of Captain Threepwood and his arch-nemisis Mechanical Murray!
I made this one really quick, so sorry for the bad drawings.

Don't you just hate it when that happens?

These are fun - I really dig everyone else's entries, so I thought I'd put one together, myself. Also a good chance to practice some of my shading techniques - as you can see, I'm not quite used to using my new kneaded eraser. Also, I didn't want to spend too much extra time on this in photoshop, so I lettered it by hand. I've gone ahead and transcribed the text (http://www.garlic.com/~rideout/spacepiratecaine/spiffy.txt), in case anybody can't read my messy handwriting.
(Hope it's not too big, I can change it to just a plain link if everyone prefers, as that seems to be the way most are doing it...)
Marvelous. I even like the twist in the story more than the drawings, which is saying a LOT.
damn, how am I going to compete with that.... with colour and rubber chickens!!!1 and err. lasers, and penguins and pirates!
Well. I'll be damned. That's some niiice messing around. I wish I could draw like that, and letter for that matter. Even lettering like that would be fine actually. Are you human?
Magintz: Don't forget the shower... and upload some vids dagnabbit!
You know, Caine, you could go overboard with this "improving yourself" stuff. You don't want to alienate us, mere mortals.*
*If you recognize this quote, you need to get a life.
I think I'll put it as a link instead because of the gore:

The birth of a new superhero! ^^;

Gilbot, Dambuilder, those are awesome. I also thought I'd share with the class, since it seems somewhat timely, this link to Superdickery (http://www.superdickery.com/dick/84.html), Home of the "Superman is a dick" collection.
The whole thing is hilarous, but for some reason, that one had me laughing like an idiot for at least five minutes straight. c-off's entry (also awesome) almost seems to pale in comparison to some of the actual stuff Superman's done. Wow.
great entries so far. Keep em' coming...

i've been having problems with my tablet, but I hope i can finish tonight.
Eggie, I love your style and your humour, great work.
All other entries are great as well, I doubt mine will win, but I just need some practice with my tablet / drawing (not)skills.
EDIT: I finished it off, it's not the best but it's the first thing i've really used my tablet for.

Well it was preety close this time. But there can be only one. So the winner is Dambuilder. The tehnick and humor just blew me away. So congratulations and good luck with the ideas forthe new competition.
Wow, cool, thanx! That sure came unexpected, with all those great entries!
OK, I'll see that I come up with a theme within the next, uhm, 36 hours!Ã, ^^;
I hope to enter, make it good for us :D
Awesome. Great job, Dambuilder and all other fellow entrants - It was a fun contest, now that it's starting to pick up. With summer break coming up, I'll have more time to focus on my entry this next time through.
Again, groovy stuff, looking forward to the next one.
Arr.
