Alrighty, my contribution to the MAGS competition is online and ready to be played! I am making a thread in Completed Games with more info, but here is the brief:

Mr. Danger's Contest!

Story - You are James McManus, a loner. You receive an invitation from a mysterious Mr. Danger to come and compete in a competition against other 'special people' to inherit his millions of dollars. Not one to pass up that much money, you head to his secluded mansion. Once there, things quickly turn deadly, and you must not only be the winner of the competition, but you must also try to figure out who is killing the competition before they do away with you.

Also, just so people know, there are 2 completely different endings, and one of the endings has 2 branches differentiating how to go about getting the ending.

More than one week of voting is over, now it's time for the results.

First of all many thanks to both participants for making this a great final of my time as MAGS host. Talking about voting results this was a really exciting week in terms of how people voted: The entries took turns at the top. Two winners? Well, kind of...

As the results are so close now and as I only have one "adventurer kit" to give away I decided to donate another special prize to the second winner: A CD containing all the MAGS entries of the last 5 years while I hosted the contest. This for example also includes the no longer available original version of the Shivah. So it really is something special, too

So who will be prepared to face real adventures outdoor (with the "adventurer kit") and who's the one to play all the games (on CD)!? Over the last few days one game made it to the top, actually in the end now there's more than just one vote in difference to the other entry...

The winner is Mazoliin with his entry Rockabilly Kid! You win the kit. Congratulations!

Mazoliin for a deserved winner: this game was closest to the ruleset given: Please create a real classic point-and-click adventure with cool puzzles and an interesting story.

Bill for creating another great game is such short time. Great story, fun music and good graphics.

Klaus for hosting the last five years. Well done. It must have been tough at times to keep the contest going while at others it must have been a great joy seeing those entries. Well done!
