Title: Photoshop Contest - 22nd of June to 2nd of July
Post by: nihilyst on Wed 22/06/2005 22:45:40
The Photoshop Contest; the only place in the world, where you win a prize after "beating" a politician. ;)

I guess, the rules are simple. Take your Photoshop or any other program you like and edit given pictures.

This contest's topic: A PLACE FAR AWAY

Now, what's this about? It's simple: Take a picture of yourself or a friend, a family member, a colleague or just someone from the World Wide Web and put him in a place far away. It would be nice if you could include the originals, too.

For example this. That's a friend of mine walking on a local field:

And - swoosh! - now he is somewhere in New Zealand or something (I didn't find the original mountain again):

By the way: The edit is grey, because it refers to a story, my friend and I are writing at the moment. Just an insider joke.

Happy editing!

Me taking a break while doing a little patrolling-

(I seem to be overcome by film grain)

And the original, me taking a break by suspending myself above a cave enterance to the otter exhibit at the zoo.

Nevermind the expression, I'm explaining to the photographer how to navigate my camera.

Strange...
Today I finished school and got "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" as an award. And I read it. Then I saw this entry.

I was quietly day dreaming about something very personal, and somehow I appeared on the back of a flying elephant.

Originals:

I photoshopped over a photoshopped image. I get double the points now :=. If I get points at all, that is.

Oh, whoops, I forget to choose a winner ... Thanks to those, who reminded me.

Ali: A laser sword duel om the Time Square. Well done!
Zooty & friends: Good edit ... would have been even better if you could see the shoes standing on the ground.
Disco: Looks a bit messy, how you (or whoever the person is) are lying on the entrance shield.
Magintz: It could have been a bit more. And besides that, Marvin doesn't really fit in the scenery.
G. Peepwood: Your head is perfectly aligned to the body. You could habe adjusted the gamme a bit more to make it perfect.
Largo: I really don't get it.

Hm ... hard to choose: I'll announce Ali as the winner.

Good entries, anyway.

cheers
