Sorry for the delay, I had some trouble with the computer. Let's get puzzling!

The rules are simple. I provide a situation and a problem for you to solve, as well as any additional details, and you need to build a puzzle around the situation, by using the the provided list of items and a limited number of your own items. This doesn't apply to in-room objects, locations, and characters. The more interesting and original your puzzle, the better, and more details add a lot too.
The winner is chosen by voting after the 11th, and he/she gets to set the next rules, Yay!

The theme this time is:
Run, Lemur, Run!

You are a small lemur nearing maturity (kind of in puberty stage), and you notice that your brothers and sisters have escaped the zoo, after being captured the night before, but you were left behind. How will you join your family in the wild, and more to the point, get out of this place?

Items you may use:
CRAB SHELL
3 LETTUCE LEAVES
METAL BAR
PENNY
RUBBER DUCK
STURDY WEEDS
LEMUR-FEED(tm)
GOLDEN COIN
FUR
BITS OF WOOD
CARROT
TWO ADDITIONAL ITEMS OF YOUR CHOICE

Additional rules: You can start off with any number of items, but not with your additional ones.
Try Not to Breathe - coming sooner or later!

We may have years, we may have hours, but sooner or later, we push up flowers. - Membrillo, Grim Fandango coroner

Part 1 â€" Dennis Almighty

Opening scene shows the zoo's veterinarian gently placing you into an empty cage then shouting at one of the two unfortunate guards watching out the Zoo "Bob I'm done with the lemur, get me out of here".

Bob shows up and unlocks the gate, "I'm so sorry for this Doctor, the escape of the lemurs last night stroked us all" Bob apologizes to the Doctor for the tight security restrictions as he's locking the newly installed huge padlock. "It's Ok son, just make sure no animals escape next time" the doctor says.

Location: Lemur Cage
"I must get out of this place!"
A snake locked in a glass cage next to your cage "Sssss, Ssssss …. I highly doubt that, you funny looking monkey; Ssssssss besides you would be good company"
You: "First of all I'm no monkey you uneducated reptile! I'm a Lemur! Who are you?!"
Snake: "I'm the most fearsome and dreadful snake of all. You can call me Dennissss"
You: "You look more like a watering hose for me than an almighty snake! Besides what's with the name! Don't you think Dennis is a sissy name for someone as 'fearsome and dreadful' as you pretend to be?"
Dennis: "Bwahhaha hhaaha Ssssss Ssssssssssss that's the point ssssssss, I am Sissy Ssssssss Ssssssss"
You (shaking your head): "Whatever!"

Open inventory:
"Hmmm let's see …"

Look at Golden Coin:
"My lucky coin, I'm glad I still have it"

Look at Lemur-Feedâ,,¢:
"The Doctor left me some of this gluey Lemur-Feedâ,,¢; it tastes as bad as it looks; Yuk!"

Eat Lemur-Feedâ,,¢:
"No way!" (Turns to face the screen) "You are supposed to free me not kill me, besides it's in a firmly sealed jar!"

Look at cage:
"It looks like a trash can in here, there is a pile of junk at the corner, some white fur all over the place, a half bitten carrot and a bunch of lettuce heads"
(Looking all over again)
"There is a huge padlock at the gate, and a window blocked by metal bars on top of the gate."

Pickup pile of junk:
"Let's see …"

(Searching through the junk)
"Crab shell … crap! I'll keep it anyway; from the weight and look of the shell it could be useful in breaking someone's head"

(Searching through the junk)
"Hmmm some sturdy weeds! Oh, one is hollow from the inside, this might be useful. I'll take it"

(Searching through the junk)
"A rubber duck! Why I am not surprised! … I guess a rubber duck is useful sometimes; exclusively in adventure games"

Pickup pile of junk (again):
"There is nothing else in there that's worth taking"

Pickup white fur:
"There is white fur all over this place; Looks like this junk yard was inhabited by some white-furred animals"

Pickup half bitten carrot:
"A half bitten carrot. I wonder what kind of animal lived in here"

Pickup Lettuce:
"Green lettuce, I'll take a leaf; I have no need for the whole head"

Pickup Lettuce (again):
"I'll take another leaf"

Pickup Lettuce (again):
"I'll take one more leaf"

Pickup Lettuce (again):
"Hey! Enough is ENOUGH"

Look at Dennis's cage:
"Dennis is resting in a large roof-less cage made of glass"

Talk to Dennis:
<DIALOG>
You: "Hi there!"
Dennis: "What is it!"

WHERE IS MY FAMILY?
You: "Do you have any idea where my family is?"
You: "They were all locked in here when the doctor took me for treatment"
Dennis: "Poor unlucky you! They managed to escape after they broke the old rusted metal lock at the front gate"
(The next dialog option is activated only once this has finished)

DO YOU KNOW WHERE THEY ARE GOING?
You: "Do you know where they are going?"
Dennis: "Well …"
You: "Well what! Please I need to know; otherwise I'll never be able to find them in the surrounding forests"
Dennis: "That's the fun of it. Heh Heh Hheh heh heh …."
You: "You sneaky you! I'll skin you alive if you don't tell me right away!"
Dennis: "Tell you what! The message that they left for you?"
(The next dialog option is activated only once this has finished)

WHAT MESSAGE! I BADLY NEED TO KNOW!
You: "Oh come on, tell me and I promise that I'll free you from this misery …"
Dennis: "Haha Hahaha Haaaa, you are really funny! Much better than my previous neighbors"

WHAT'S YOUR STORY? HOW DID YOU END UP HERE?
You: "So what's your story? How did you end up being the circus-snake that you are?"
Dennis: "Enough of this sarcasm, to make a long story short. A long time ago the Doctor that treated you have found poor little defend-less poison-less me almost dead after a small bunch of evil rabbits (sighing) nearly ate half of me"
Dennis: "And I have been placed here ever since!"
(The next dialog option is activated only once this has finished)

AND ARE YOU ENJOYING YOUR STAY?
You: "So, are you enjoying your stay?"
Dennis: "Oh yes, ever since they moved the long tailed monkeys here …"
You: "Lemurs not monkeys you rude-vulgar you …"
Dennis: "Whatever!"
(The next dialog option is activated only once this has finished)

SO WHAT IS IT BETWEEN YOU AND THE PREVIOUS INHABITANTS OF MY CAGE
You: "Who were the previous inhabitants of this cage? Why weren't you getting along"
Dennis: "Forget about it! I never want to talk about it! It was a nightmare! I could hardly sleep"
You: "Who were they?"
Dennis: "(fearful) I'm not talking about it anymore …"

WHAT MESSAGE! I BADLY NEED TO KNOW! (again)
You: "Please tell me what is the message my family left, please!"
Dennis: "If I told you, you may re-consider escaping, and if you did I'm not sure whom they might place instead of you at the cage. I can't risk living that nightmare again"
You: "Pleaseeeee!"
Dennis: "Forget about it. Bwahahahaaaa"

TALK TO YOU LATER
You: "Talk to you later"
Dennis: "Sssssss Ssssssss"
</DIALOG>

Pickup metal bar
"It's Heavy 'n Metal … Hmmm there's an inscription at the side that says Metallica Forever!!!"

Pickup bits of wood
"Small rounded bits of wood; these must have come down when I tried to loosen the metal bar from the wooden window frame."

Climb window

Use metal bar with Lemur-Feedâ,,¢
"The metal bar is a good chisel, but I still can't crack the seal"

Use crab shell with Lemur-Feedâ,,¢
"This might work; this shell is really tough. It even looks like a hammer in a way or another"
(You use the hammer and the chisel errr sorry the metal bar and the crab shell to break the Lemur-Feedâ,,¢ open)
"Yuk, this is really gluey!"

Use Lemur-Feedâ,,¢ with rubber duck
"The rubber duck is all glued"

Use fur with rubber duck
"Let's see … Ahhhh I've created a monster!!! Hold on, this looks like a rabbit"

Use phony rabbit with Dennis
You: "Hey Dennis, wanna see my friend over here"
Dennis: "(anticipating) Who? What? Where?"
Suddenly you take the phony rabbit out of you inventory and show it to Dennis.
Dennis: "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaghhhhhhhhhh Aaaaaaghhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa"
Dennis: "Please stop, please aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh"

Talk to Dennis
<DIALOG>
You: "Let's TALK now"
Dennis: "(scared) Whatever you say, just keep that monster away from me!"

SO WHAT IS THE MESSAGE THAT MY FAMILY LEFT?
You: "Now tell me, what did my family tell you? What message did they leave?"
Dennis: "They told me that they'll be waiting you next to …. Hmmmmm …"
You: "Keep on talking or else I'll let my monster go"
(You show the phony rabbit to the fearful Dennis again)
Dennis: "I'm not going to say anything! After all rabbits won't jump out on a fully grown all mighty fearsome swashbuckling snake"
Dennis: "And so your monster will never attack me!"
(The next dialog option is activated only once this has finished)

I can throw him at your topless cage!
You: "I'll throw the rabbit inside your cage"
Dennis: "You can't do it, my cage is far away, and you won't be able to throw something as heavy as the rabbit in from that distance"
(Thinking of it you realize that Dennis knows something about projectiles)

TALK TO YOU LATER
You: "Talk to you later"
Dennis: "Sssssss Ssssssss"
</DIALOG>

Use Carrot on Dennis
You: "Hey Dennis, I have a present"
Dennis: "Oh you miserable soul, what now!"
(Waving the carrot in front of Dennis sight)
You: "Now tell me my friend what would happen if I throw this carrot inside of your glassy cage, and let lose my hungry starving rabbit …."
Dennis: "Aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, please stop, please … ask me for anything … anything …"

Talk to Dennis
<DIALOG>
You: "So you wanna tell me something"
Dennis: "Anything, just ask"

Where will my family be waiting me!
You: "Where will my family be waiting! And don't even think about lying"
(You hold both the carrot and the phony rabbit in front of Dennis)
Dennis: "Alright, Alright, just keep these out of my site! I beg you, they'll meet you next to the intersection of the Two-Grand-Rivers-Of-The-East, your father was sure that you'll make it out safe from here"
(Talking to yourself) "He must be right, because I'm the only one here that knows about that intersection."

TALK TO YOU LATER
You: "Talk to you later"
Dennis: "Don't!"
</DIALOG>

Bob bends downs to grab his fair reward …

Cut-scene
"Well, take this …" You say as you hacks Bob's head with the metal bar. After spinning a few time around himself Bob falls unconscious to the ground.
