Title: Sprite Jam: 20-12-04 to 27-12-04
Post by: Gilbert on Mon 20/12/2004 01:40:23
Since we're still in a holiday mood, I'll make this Jam Christmas related also.

Your task is to draw a sprite of a Christmas tree...

Wait! Isn't that simple? Not really, that tree should not be made with a tree, i.e. it can be a "tree" make with scrapped metal, or by socks hanging from a pole, as long as it's creative and hilarious.

Oh, and the specs:
size: not bigger than 30x30 pixels
colour: unlimited

The reason I set the size restriction so small is that I also want you to use your skill wisely to have make your creation easily understable in such a small size.

So, happy spriting!

It's Xmas under my cursor

30X30 - 26 colors

It has blinking lights but I'm at work and have no software for animated gifs.

"I'm not going to pay lots of money for Christmas tree... I'll be a tree myself!"

2x
(http://ninamorgenstern.de/AGS/XmasSJ.gif) 30x30 34 colours

Woman: "Hon, are you sure we are doing the right thing?"
Man: "Oh, don't worry about her. She was far too old to move anyway. She'll be fine."
Woman: "I'm not worried about her. I'm worried about us. How can we celebrate Xmas if your mother doesn't even hold that star up properly?"

EDIT
I have made a little animated version of it with blinking lights and a shaking granny:

By "balls" do you mean "Christmas tree decorations" or "Christmas lights"? As "balls" means something entirely different where I'm from, your statements confuse me.

Option a! We call the christmas tree decorations "Xmas balls", no matter if they're ball shaped or not.

By the way, the nasty sense of the word works terrific for the joke, IMO!  ;)

Where I'm from, that word always means the nasty sense.
