Figured it was about time to enter a sprite jam.
This is supposed to be Sir Ian McKellen as Gandalf from the "Lord of The Rings" trilogy.

Very nice sprites I must say, but aren't you supposed to actually draw the sprites during the time which the Sprite Jam competition takes place? I thought that was sort of the point.

The jam isn't about ability, but creativity. Or so I've been told.
I've been sick of envy when I saw Big Brother's sprite :).
Firstly, I decided not to participate in this Sprite Jam, because I was quite sure to loose, but I decided to copy the style.
I think I archieved a quite photorealistic style... I used Helm's tutorial tecnique (The tutorial is missing, but I remember it), That is, using a photo, outline it with a layer, and paint it with different colours, bluring often the pixels to get the needed effect.

i was thinking about that old black 'n white movie but i may be the invisible man from hollow man as well. :) i think that's the most realistic sprite i made ever... if you get rid of the text, arrow and that ring of some kind.

Start a new Sprite Jam (topic) in the same manner, ie set rules (theme, size, colours, etc. etc).
