Title: Sprite Jam Oct 20th - 27th
Post by: Ashen on Wed 20/10/2004 18:02:26
I was thinking, and I thought 'What would be a good Sprite Jam?' Then I thought, 'Nah, I'm not going to win anyway.' Then I won, and came up with this:

Show me The Greatest Invention In The World, Ever!

What's the best thing that exists?* What's the best thing that doesn't exist?
No colour limit, but no bigger than 120x120.
Bonus points for interesting/funny descriptions.

*Besides AGS, of course. (grovel, grovel)

i present the windows time watch

with a brand new windows Xp

---license agrement:---

you here by say that you have never owned windows Xp befour
if you have the please take windows 2000 time watch

---end of license---

windows will Not take any responsible to what ever may happen to you when you use this

------customers review--------
Pumaman(CJ)
well when i used this watch it transported me back in time and i bought every adventure game that i could

it wasnt until when i was heading back when i got this error:
'421 this device has found an error it will now shut down good bye'

now i look like larry because the device was not able to put me back together, but that is allright

i got to go, one of my girlfriend is waiting for me

Dart mandarb

be careful when you use this device, this is from windows and to make things worse, it's windows Xp so anything could happen

i would not recommend windows Xp (cause they have never worked), i would recommend Linux

it doesnt want you to know what can happen in Xp and therefore puts this on the license aggrement

this post was modified by windows on 10-10-2005

...
404 errors are HTML errors for when a page can't be found, not XP errors.

CJ is a polygamist? Who'd a thunk it, eh?

Arrr it be a peanut me fine feathered freinds. A loverly salty peanut.

I gave it to me daughter and she exclaimed . . "arr, it be a peanut for all time" . . " ai " I said " it is to be sure". What a marvelous wonderous thing be a peanut with salt on it - what a marvelous wonderous thing.

I made this a couple of months ago, so it's not an official entry, but I thought it belonged here.  behold, the roto groomer!

The greatest invention in the world? Why, it's obviously a bow and arrow of course, which can be used as a hunting tool, as a long-distance weapon, or as a sport.

Now that's what I call versatility!

And the winner is....

Mr_Frisby
(I never could resist salty, salty snackfoods.)

An 'Honourable Mention' goes to Hotspot, but the Earth itself isn't exactly the greatest invention in the world, is it. Unless you're from Magrathea, I suppose.

Congratulation Frisby, and thank you all for playing.
