Yes, obviously, I'm just thinking ahead a bit too much. It's just that I haven't seen BassFisherman on the forums lately, and being the storywriter, he is very needed.

Glad this was extended by a week, as I'm also away some of the first week of august too

Umm, I have a question

. If a team asks help on the forums, such as in Critic's lounge or Technical forums, is that allowed or is that considered outside assistance (as mentioned in Andail's sticky post, no outside assistance). This is just for future reference

As hard as it is to monitor, I meant no outside assistance whatsoever.

It's impossible to draw a limit between a subtle hint and a major contribution to the making of the game, so I have to set a none-tolerance. If you can't solve a technical issue, you have to lower your standards.
Don't aim too high; be realistic.

Please be honest on this one; don't use irc or msn, nor the forums, nor your buddy, to get aid in your projects. Cheating will render disqualification, so don't take any chances!

Heh, ok, I figured that would be it. Thanks for the clarification nonetheless.

Anyways, I have another little question: Obviously only team created content means our own GUI and cursors, but does it apply to fonts? Not many people know how to make custom fonts. I could try, but it's likely to be very difficult to learn SCI studio or a similar program quickly. So, are we allowed to keep the default font?

Without fonts, the game wouldn't be very comprehensible

The mandatory status report goes in ATC.

I haven't mentioned any GIP threads, and it's up to you if you wanna start any. For the sake of the competition, there's no need for any GIP-threads, but then again, it's optional.

Judging from the ATC-thread, you're doing very well, over my expectations, and I almost regret I wasn't a part of one of the teams instead
