Anna's Quest is a black comedy adventure game set in a dark fairy-tale like setting inspired by The Brothers Grimm and Hans Christian Andersen... with a sci-fi twist!

The story follows Anna, a young girl who, in the search of a cure for her ailing Grandpa, has been captured and kept under lock and key in a tower deep in the dark wood by an evil old witch. The witch has plans – plans that involve large, mysterious machines and cruel experiments with Anna. What the witch doesn't count on, however, are the powerful telekinetic forces brought up within Anna, and Anna's own plans of escape...

Do the AGS Awards include individual best voice acting awards? Because the kid playing Ted just earned you my $5 pretty much single-handedly. I mean, the art is beautiful, as I'm sure you already knew, but the first time I heard that bear talk, I was sold. That is adorable.

Hahaha! Thanks Eric! He's actually played by my son, who will be over the moon to hear that. Mind you, I'll tell any of you now if you consider doing the same - not easy keeping kids in front of a microphone for longer than 15 minutes at a time :/

I've just finished the game and I really enjoyed it. It is a great start for a game series. The animations and the backgrounds are beautiful, and the voice acting is top notch. For the most part the puzzles were very enjoyable: I only got stuck once, and I only had to resort to trying all items on every other item once. Good stuff. I'll be looking forward to the next games!

Just one request, please get rid of the animation preloading in future episodes. It's a bit of a turn off when launching the game for a quick session.

I am curious (professionally), what does the game do when it sais "preloading animations"? Sorry if my question is a bit strange for "completed game announcement".

At some point the game seems to have been ported to Visionaire Studio, and that's the version that's currently for sale. As this makes it a non-AGS game, I'm going to lock this topic as it no longer adheres to board rules.
