Title: Board Quest. AGS first board game.
Post by: jetxl on Thu 24/06/2004 23:43:23
I never know what to write in these posts other then PLAY the game.
This is one of those party games like Mario Party but made with ags.
I made it in ten days when I should have learned for my Logical Phisics exam. (p --> q <=> ¬p v q). I passed it with a 55.
edit:(if I got a 54 I would have failed the exam)

*This game features all your favorite characters from Demo Quest 2.
*It has 3 mini games for hours of fun.
*One gigantic Forest board to play on.
*Play with up to tree players or by yourself with build in life like bots.
*Set the time length for this game yourself.
*Trivia questions that ONLY the 1337 adventure gamer can awnser.
*And a lot of other crap.

Sounds pretty cool. I downloaded it. I'll test it out later. Right now I'm trying to finish up my game.

You're brilliant. What a novel design. Come to Baltimore at once.

I loved the game. Despite its natural bias against Roger (who I was playing), I managed to beat my brother by over 100 points to win. And he passed the finish line first.

Out of curiosity, how many ducks does anyone usually kill on average?

Yes, you must have downloaded the first version. I found that bug this morning and uploaded the new one.

I had around 50 points when I was test playing it.

I played the game and I must say that it's realy good. But there are only 3 side games. Why aren't  there more. Add at least one more.

Ducks is long, but I think its good it is so you can get points.

You should add multiple paths in the next version.
Love the baloon game

Great job! The game is very fun. Congrats! Toadie was an interesting choice of a character too. :P

Hope you'll make a sequel which will have more mini-games (I, too felt that it could have some more), multiple paths sound cool too.

I passed it with a 55.

You know, people here in the AGS community come from many different places, each having it's own grading system, so saying "55" doesn't mean much if you don't also tell what the maximum grade is  ;).

he didn't mean he rated it with a 55. He means he played the game and scored 55 points.

No, he meant that he passed his exam with a score of 55 (probably out of 100), and that if he had gotten 54, he would've failed.
Kapow.

yes, 55 like, percent.
But the good answer is also 55 out of 100.

This is how it works. The lowest grade you can get is 10. The highest 100.
If you pass the test (get a 55 or higher), you get 3 points. If you don't, you get nothing, nada, zippo, no points. The total points of all the classes put together is 60. If you don't have 60 points at the end of the year (and didn't pass every test) you can still go to the second year but have to re take exams or projects of the first year.

I still think it's wierd that I got exacty 55. Maybe the teacher felt sorry and counted a point extra. But the teacher acts generaly as an ass.
