Alien : Puzzle Invasion

Hi !
I'm back again to present you my last game : Alien Puzzle Invasion.
It's a match-3 type game, starring the Alien Queen from the Alien Saga.
French game, English text available.

Make lines with at least 3 objects of the same type.

- Eggs make you lay facehuggers
- Humans can recept facehuggers and create soldiers
- Food is needed to lead your soldiers to a new planet
- Plant can be used in the research department to increase your attack power
- Beware of the missiles ! Humans can hurt you.

You must invade all the 9 planets of the solar system to win.

Great. I must've played several dozen Match-3 games now, and the concept isn't new at all, but the execution and, not the least, the fact that you can do such a thing in AGS... big crowd pleaser. Also, I have a soft spot for the Alien movies. Good theme.

One thing though- after each game, when moving to another planet or restarting the one I am on, I no longer can swap pieces- bug, or do I miss something?

The game is adictive and really original. So CONGRATULATIONS!!

I havent finished it but IMHO I'd say that having exactly the same minigame in every planet makes it a little monotone.

Anyway Cool game!

EDIT: the translation didn't work fine for me. But I guess it's because you are using AGS 3.1.2 which has a problem with translations that I'm going to notify right now in the technical forum cause it also happened to me in my game.

Yeah the translation is like 6 sentences, but everything else is a mystery. Would it be a problem to make that Instructions.txt in english as well? That would help a lot
Otherwise it's a cool game, has more strategy than usual, which makes it fun, but it took me like 5 games to notice I shouldn't connect the rocket tiles.  :

I have just added the english instruction files, I noticed too late that I have forgotten to translate it. It's available now.

There is actually a little bug sometimes, you have to click several times on the objects in order to be able to select them. Click fast and it must return shortly Sorry for the inconvenience, I coulnd't fix it.

Nice and addictive game. The only thing that bugs me is that the only point in the galaxy-conquest aspect of the game lies in waiting for enough food to transport the soldiers to the planets. Getting enough soldiers and increasing power through research is quite easy but getting enough food is a test of patience. The food recycler isn't of much help unfortunately.

But I like it nonetheless..
