Maybe this is a bug.I don't know if someone meet this.
When I kill four Sophie,I want to go into the mirror.On my way,I meet the faxman.
I don't shoot him.I run into the mirror.
When I fight against the BOSS Sophie.The faxman is always beside me.But he don't hurt me.
I finish the BOSS and find Lvy is lieing on the ground,The faxman is still beside .
I can't leave this game scene whatever I do.
I can shoot at the faxman and he die.But when I go into the door ,the system tell that
"The charactar is not in the right scene"
Confusing.....

I think I've also found a dead end in the game.

I've killed three Sophies, the only one alive is in room 402. Then I've killed Agness. Now I can't kill the last Sophie as I don't have neither chainsaw (studio is still closed and the mannequin head is there), nor rifle shells (Agness died). Agness can't reappear because I can't have nightmares any more.

I can mail a save if you need to investigate the problem, but it is a Russian retail version by Akella so don't know if savegames will be compatible. BTW, the glitch described above in this forum:

is also present in the Russian version of the game. I left clicked on the left exit from the mirror room and my protagonists just teleported to that room being able to walk etc so I didn't have to reload the last savegame.

I wanted to try that path too, but I did not found time to replay the game yet.
(Besides you really should be in "horror" mood to play this game

Grim Reaper said that he should get 5 copies from Akella, so I guess he may actually try using one to check.

Akella has a downloadable review version (at least mine is) so there's a quicker way than to wait post delivery. :-) In fact I've completed the game and was playing through it again writing a walkthrough trying to minimize walking in the hotel and in the town when encountered this (possible) dead end. The review is also on its way.

Just as an aside - despite not winning anything at the Aggies :'( , I did vote for Downfall in multiple categories (story, setting, best indie game, and a couple of others).

I felt it deserved it.

Few days ago I received my 5 copies of Russian Downfall! They look like music CD's in Russia, it turns out. I prefer english DVD size cases but hey, it's still all right! Anyway, I can't help feeling proud, so I thought I'd post a photo here.
