Finally! It's taken me one year of production to finish this game. So rest assured that there's A LOT of time and effort put into this title.


Story:
After having escaped from the agents, Frank and his friends are captured by the american military and brought to a military camp on the island of Guija.
Frank needs once again to save his friends, and escape from the clutches of the Syndicate!



In the second part of Frank's adventures you'll find yourself on an exotic island with lots of new characters to interact with, and many challenging problems to solve.

This game is bigger, better and more beautiful than its predecessor!

I'm stuck:

A pile of rocks have blocked my way after I took the tape. I used the sylphyr on the bowl but I need the other stuff for the ingredients. I've got bomb-recipie, charcoal, chilsel and hamer, silvertape, jar, log, metal rod, cannabis plant and magnifing glass. How do you get the termites off the tree (I suppouse you should get rid of them to get sawdust)?

i think i found a bug. on the second floor of the secret facility, near the grids where the loose one is.. frank and ben get stuck to the left of the grids and wont move at all..had to restore the game from here. couldnt walk away from the area, its like ben is blocking it or something..

I didn't get a bug, making the bomb worked fine for me,

I was able to make the bomb by putting ingredients in the bowl and then using the bowl to mix it and then used potassium.

Yes, that is an problem. What you to is click the mouse further down. That should work.

After have discovered the agents and the hideout I need to get the bone from the archelogic site and need to get the coil from the plane but I can't pick it up and I don't know how to distract Archie nor how to replace the bone.

The magnifier was hanging beside the wunderbaum at Clifford's house in the beta-version. Now however I've moved it somewhere else, because I thought it was a bit cheap to get two things at the exact same spot.

I've completed the game. It was even better and longer than the first part. Looks like we have to wait another year for the third and possibly final part of the Frank the Farmhand series.

It was really unexpecting that Max would get killed because he and Sam seems to be like the famous cartoony smart short leader and dumb tall compainion duo. Anyway, it was fun and I hope the same fate will happen to Sam and Mr. Big (Who I suspect is very short because it's a famous cartoon cliché but I might be wrong).

To capture the pink creature, first use the plate of food on the jar, and put this on the ground. Walk to the right of the cave, but DO NOT exit! Wait until the creature peeks out, and crawls into the jar. Then pick up the jar (careful you don't click on the creature itself or he says he can't catch it). That should work.

1.some of the hotsptos were too small and hard to see such as the bottle and the rope in the well
2.when going from one location to another on the map is it possible for the character to be seen clearly actualy walking on the map and sometimes when i press when o want to get from oneplace to another it takes a few seconds before it actually moves

Ditto.  fovmester, this was a Great game.  It took me 2 days to complete it.  Puzzles made sense.   Hope we don't have to wait too long for a sequel.  Looking forward to it.  Man you really deliver good games.

This was a great game!
I played through Part 1 yesterday to get ready.
I was impressed by the amount of animation and the consistency of the artwork in both games - I was a bit worried by the KKK involvement but it was pretty well handled I thought.
The artwork reminds me a lot of Beavis and Butthead - not beautiful but solid.
My only gripe with Part 1 was the cat puzzle - I had to check your walkthrough for the solution.

Part 2 was a definite improvement in that all the puzzles were logical without always being too obvious. I had a lot of "aha" moments which I love in adventure games. For example

The only problem I had was

I had all the bomb ingredients but it took a lot of fiddling around with the bowl to get the bomb made. I can't remember what I tried but you could make that a bit easier.

One thing I'd suggest for the next (final) game would be someone to clean up the dialog. Sometimes it shows that English isn't your first language, and there are a few spelling mistakes (more so in Part 1).
I'd also question the use of swearing in the game. It seems completely superfluous and rather incongruous.

All in all, though, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Where is the rod?

I have followed the agents to their hiding place and given the dog the bone.  I have no idea what rod I am supposed to use to get the key out of the well and I don't know what to do with the coil.  Please help.

The rod is lying on the ground behind Clifford's hut, between the pile of bamboo, and the stump with the coconut on it. To get the key, first press the green button on the plane, and use the rod on the coil (this makes it a magnet). Then go to the village, use the pulley to bring the rope to the top, use the rod on it, use the pulley twice and pick up the rod and key.

I'd have to replay the game and make notes, and I'm not sure how productive that would be right now. Unless the fovmester is listening?

Its just it was the first thing I've done beta-testing for, and I'm a bit of a perfectionist to be honest! I think there were probably some bits of dialogue that weren't technically grammatically correct, but no one actually speaks perfectly grammatically correct English in casual conversation.

Example: "Are you dissing me 'cos I is Northern Irish?"  ;)

the sawdust. I already took a log and use it with the termites, and then "assumed" that I have sawdust. But I don't think this is the case. I don't see the sawdust anywhere, and I still can't just "use" the bowl...

Pick up the cannabis from the long leafed plant outside Clifford's hut. Use the cannabis on the termites. Then pick up another log from Clifford and use the termites on the log. Tata! You've got sawdust!

Ben and I have just killed Max and we're in the "syndicate" place. I have found the two cards on Max, but couldn't figure out what to do. Any help?

There's one thing that I think it's so weird that nobody never have said anything about:

In Frank the Farmhand 1 Frank got the weenies back (which someone pointed out) and fovmester said it was going to be used in Frank the Farmhand 2 but when I completed the game I got chocked that it NEVER happened because the weenies didn't even appear in the start of the game. Why's that, fovmester? If this have been changed in FF2 then maybe it's a good idea to change the weenies part in FF1.

Bug Report:

I got stuck behind the debris in the mountain pass, where Frank cannot move. I have a save game here: http://www.2dadventure.com/ags/agssave.zip

I left the digging site, got in the lower right corner of the mountain pass screen and tried to walk to island. I ended up behind the debris, as you see it in the savegame.

Also, Ctrl+Q brings up the default Quit message box instead of the custom one - I don't know if this is a problem or by design so I thought I mention it.

Thanks for the report. I think I've fixed it now. It was a region that was like one pixel to small so if you were incredibly unlucky you could get past it without triggering it.

Nice game, fovmester! I just finished it, it has an amazing atmosphere. I liked the humor, too, good job! I hope Part 3 will be out soon.

Part 3 will not be out anytime soon, though. I've started to think about the story and some puzzles but I'm actually quite fed up with Frank and his adventures at the moment.

Instead I've begun another project that I think will be REALLY interesting. I'm not ready to reveal it yet, but I can tell you that it's very different from my previous games. it's just gonna be one game (not three like FtF), and after it's done I'm gonna make part 3 of Frank's adventure.

If you're disappointed by this news, don't be. Because instead of FtF3 you'll get another game that might be just as fun to play. Besides this mean I'll have even more experience when I start making part 3 which should hopefully make that game the best in the series.

How do I get the oil??? He wont let me... i even tried while he turned to get the dart...
