Title: Island Quest
Post by: OneThinkingGal and ._. on Thu 06/03/2003 21:21:33
Finished this last August(for a non-ags audience) and didnt get around to posting it on the AGS boards.  But these people in IRC won't leave me alone until I do so here it is:

Island Quest (http://theloft.asp-world.co.uk/AGS/IQFinal3.zip)

This is based on the game Tropico, if you've played it, you'll enjoy the game more. :)

Two things:
1. Hang on to the keys, you cant give them to the agent. (This is the point where almost everyone seems to get stuck) and
2. Save often - there are a couple of ways to die. :P Yes die.

Oh yeah walkthrough is here.  (http://yadayada.fateback.com/IQwalkthru.txt) But don't use it unless you have to.  ^_^

Hehe, I played it a while go, but it's worth playing.  If only for the fact that it's annies game :o

And it's set in a tropico island, it's like a modern day monkey island.  Yes it's THAT good ;)

Heh. :) Thanks guys, whoever played it.

The purpose of the game is kinda hard to understand if you havent played tropico. Like why she wants to go to America and work for poptop, or why there are tarantula's in the banana field or why there's a voodoo priest on the island. :P

But there are reasons for all these things. :)
