An experimental interactive movie designed to take your mind off how well things are going. Turn off the lights, put on headphones, and play the game in full screen for maximum effect. Written and created in 24 hours.

Be aware that this is not a game; all "gameplay" is merely to immerse the viewer. This is a dynamic short film, an interactive movie, machinima. And above all, it is experimental.

This was pretty scary.  The sound design was really well done... Would be brilliant in a proper horror game.

P.S Are there multiple endings depending on your answers?

Drew, for 24 hours that was pretty solid. It was weird at times, but it had some great moments. Especially the one that you say yes, no, yes, no ecc. Nicely done.
Worked on Strangeland, Primordia, Hob's Barrow, The Cat Lady, Mage's Initiation, Until I Have You, Downfall, Hunie Pop, and every game in the Wadjet Eye Games catalogue (porting)

Thanks, now I'm depressed.  ;D

Well actually it was pretty intense and had some really cool ideas to draw the player into it. For my conception every emotion a piece of art causes is a good emotion!
Thumbs up!

Loved it. What an amazing experiece! One of my favourite games EVER.

EDIT: Last night after having few drinks I asked my grilfriend/partner to play Focality. As the game asks some very personal questions I sat a bit further away, not looking at the screen, but still being able to see her reactions. After few minutes I noticed she just sat there, staring at the screen of her laptop. Then I realized

that when game asked her to show how long she will wait, she really took it to heart and probably would have waited for another hour if I didn't say anything... I find it a great metaphor to life- waiting for something, like some do, not realizing that nothing will happen if we don't MAKE it happen... and then comes that reply, like a slap in the face...

In the end, she felt very strongly about the game's message. I think it's absolutely amazing that something so very simple can make people experience emotions like this... even if they're negative emotions, this is not something you will ever get from playing all those bloody triple A games. Honestly, Focality was like speaking to your own subconciousness. Well done.

Dayum, and there was me working on my own experimental/machinima game :( I will play this and tell you what I think :)

It's an interesting premise, but I resisted pressing the right mouse button and after waiting a bit to see if it would continue, alt-x'd the program.  I'm not fond of being told I have to be a good little drone, so I'll leave this experiment for others to play with!

For a quick experimental game I quite enjoyed it, you really succeeded in building a certain atmosphere. I was just a little disappointed during my second playthrough that the responses and outcome do not differ if you answer differently. But overall nice job!
