The Story:
Lif the lizard has lived by himself in the Barren Desert of the West peacefully for a long time until he starts having trouble with money. He is forced to find some way to get 5,000 dollars by tomorrow. When he hears of the Treasure of the Tanones, he starts off on his adventure to find it.

Ugh, do I have to register in order to download? Oh well, the file is to big to commit over 4 hours to download. I guess I'll wait till some users have comment on the game and the download link has changed. Looks intersting though and voice acting is a plus.

After uploading you should have received a "download" link, which is what you should link to.

I dunno what you've linked to at the moment, because it just doesn't work.

Wow, that's the quickest download I've ever experienced! Looking very good, joel - but I've hit a major bug. Lif constantly repeats "Thats the wrong combination", and there's no way to stop it, or exit the game once that happens...

Ok I think I know why that happens. On the combination gui module, you are supposed to put in the repeatedly execute of the room a command that gets if you typed in the wrong combination. I can't really fix this unless the module is fixed or I redo the code with hotspots or something. Just make sure you know the combination before you open the safe. I may fix this if people find enough big bugs for me to make a patch.

You might want to document the key for bringing up the main menu. And the fact that the game uses a verbcoin. And the fact that pressing ESC while walking will teleport you to your destination. These are all things that ought to be documented, especially the latter, as people will love it.

Anybody having a problem with loading a saved game? I have started this game three times from the beginning because I can't get a saved game to load, it keeps saying "please select a saved game to load" I keep trying and trying but it won't work. Am I doing something wrong?

I deleted the game, downloaded it again and started again and the same thing is happening, I cannot load a saved game. When I am playing the game, I save, go to another scene then hit F1, load the game I saved and that works but its when I quit the game, come back and try to load it won't work.

I finally got the load game to work and finished the game.

How did you fix the save game bug? I would like to know.

I hope this makes sense because I am not very technical.

I started game, clicked on Load Game, selected the saved game, hit the space bar until the cursor on the saved game was to the far right and then hit Load and it worked.

I could only load the last game I saved, it won't let you select any other games

Wow. This turned out to be a lot better than I thought it was going to be. Good job
I found a bug though-if you click on the top of the cave while it's still boarded up Lif goes there and like goes behind the cave and stuff, the graphics go wacky and then you get stuck there and can't move any where else.
