Hi, this is just a dumb game I made about a little bug trying to find its way home. It's my first attempt at making a game with AGS or anything else so it's very basic, but it's finished, playable, and hopefully a bit of fun. If you've got a couple of hours to kill there's far worse things you could do.

Congratulations on the release! Why not also add it to our database?

I'll play it and give some feedback here.  (nod)

Was fun to play, thanks! I liked the puzzles and dialogues, the graphic fit well.

Thank you!  :-D

This game is far from dumb! I really enjoyed the experience. I think the strong point is the well-developed puzzles with an impressive array of different types, ranging from inventory puzzles to completing tasks for reward to dialogue to combining items and more. I happen to enjoy games with a lot of exploring and this game definitely has that. I found the ending to be completely heart-warming!

The only area that can be improved is that I spent a lot of time trying to find exits to rooms. This is true not only missing new areas because it was not obvious as to which hotspot leads to the next room but I sometimes entered a room and couldn't figure out how to get back to the previous room.

Otherwise, amazing job for a first game!

Cheers

Thanks, I'm really glad you enjoyed it! I had a lot of fun making it & challenging myself to figure out how to make AGS do different things. And thanks for the feedback, that's helpful to know. With hindsight as well as more hotspots to highlight the screen edges that lead to a new room, I should've added more visual clues - scuffs on the ground, that sort of thing.

Thanks again!

Hi @matdogpig
I've started a Hints thread if you have a chance to answer my question.
Thanks
