Petals around the Rose

I was bored this morning.. so I decided to convert the game 'Petals around the Rose' into AGS!

I intend to add a few features to this in the future including:
Sound effects for the die roll.
Hint system which works along the lines of the UHS system (this is what Im working on right now)

Hmm, diabolically interesting. But if you don't mind, I'll wait for the hint system.

But, "Short Game"? Shouldn't it be in Non-Adventure?

Nicely done, but wouldn't a hint system kind of defeat the purpose (of working it out for yourself).
Also, any chance you could make the input box clear itself after a new roll? Or am I just being very lazy?

i solved it in a couple of minutes (damn!), but i cant see the relationship between the name and the game...

I got it after a minute or so, nice idea.
How about making it so you can only get like two guesses per roll, or something?

Nope, I just don't get it...Those clues didn't give much to me... The first one was the best one for me, but that actually didn't help with the puzzle itself...

I got it after reading the hints it was the thing about the name that made me get it.... I kinda wish I hadn't read the hints, it kind of ruined it for me :/

Okay, for those who want a walkthrough... Warning, reading this will spoil the entire game for you, so beware!!

Spoiler

Dice sides that have a middle dot in them (1, 3, 5) are the roses. The dot in the center of the die is the rose, and any other dots on die are petals. So for instance, the 5 side would have 4 petals around the rose. Now say you have rolled a 3, 4, 5, 6, and a 1, there would be 6 petals. Get it NOW??

ahh thanks hotspot, i now get it. mathematically its the same. : )
do i get a cookie for solving it without the help of the name? ; )
