I haven't downloaded it yet.

Though I will.

Is this based on the poem "Dream within a dream" by Edgar Allen Poe?

EDIT: Okay, obviously not.

EDITEDIT: Okay, so apparently it is... who am I to argue...

It was a competition thingy, whoever said it first got to be a new sidekick or something to the main characters in Lassi Quest 2. :P

He was telling us about it on #ags and said to have a fast connection... sadly, my connection is bad and I didn't win. :'(

I'm not losing my bandwidth on something I don't know. IE, tell us more about this game.

"Take this kiss upon the brow,
And in parting from me now
Thus much let me avow - you are not wrong,
Who deem that my days have been a dream.
Yet if hope has flown away,
In a night, or in a day,
In a vision, or in none,
Is it therefore the less gone?
All that we see or seem
Is but a dream within a dream.

I stand amid the roar
Of a surf-tormented shore,
And I hold within my hands
Grains of the golden sand - how few.
Yet how they creep through my fingers to the deep
While I weep - while I weep.
Oh God, can I not grasp them with a tighter clasp?
Oh God, can I not save one from the pitiless wave?
Is all that we see or seem
But a dream within a dream?"

I don't think it is, but hey, at least everyone can give their opinion now.

BTW, competition-purpose aside, I found the premise very interesting. You could make a serious game with that.

Please check www.grc.com
Open a DOS "window" and eg place:
C:\netstat -n 3
to know who is/are contacting you and check your open ports: can be a dos (denial of service), a flood, a trojan, and so on.
