Dang! If/when I get a chance to, I might have to check this out, and when I get enough through it, do an article to describe it.
Um, is there a walkthrough for this as well? I have kind of a "know before you go" mindset.

You read walkthroughs before you play the game?!

Blazing Pocket posted up a let's play of the Android version!

Apparently I downloaded the game on the 5th. But I haven't gotten around to playing it any yet. It does look interesting and I do plan to play it when I have both the time and energy to do so.
(Yes, I did just come from the "So, what "Completed game announcements" don't you open and read?" thread).

Hah. Note to self, do more advertising *within* the forum ;)
I longplayed the game:

oh, and also the AGI Version of the game appeared on my radar and I recorded me playing it...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H1_GHZik3ak
Thanks for playing both! It was fun to see you caught out by the slight change in the end puzzle (albeit, in the opposite way to the way that someone who played the AGI version first might)
Spoilers for the ending.
Spoiler
In the AGI version, you have to throw broom at light:

In the remake, because of the Sierra GUI, the light is unreachable. So, you throw at the statue:

Ooh, this looks beautiful! In fact, you already had me with that starting image. Hopefully I will someday have a similar poster for my game. Love the style!
Now to play the game (I never played the original one).
Thanks! If you get the chance, play it (although it's only a 320x180 game) in full screen or something like 3x. The title screen will appear 'hi res' before transitioning to the pixel artwork used in the game. Little AGS trick I use here and in my upcoming Feria d'Arles :)
You can see this in Selmiak's video above. Unfortunately it doesn't work in the Android version, so I need to do something different there.
