First draft of the owner of the fishing shop in the game, i know that some detailling needs correcting in places and the red 'pisshead' nose isnt to everybodies taste :P but i like it so it's staying lol. He has no legs because he'll spend the game behind a counter, so i found it pointless to draw them in.
I like it, but his arms dont give me the old man feel but that of a weak teen
Cool. Looks like the Woody Allen fisherman in Sam & Max.

I think i was subconciously going towards that look lol. Ah well it's meant to be lucasarts style so not to worry :)
EEK: i've just looked at the guy in SamnMax and found theyre a little too similar (even though i didnt use him for reference or anything) so changes are being made. ::)
UPDATE

Quick re-edit, but i dont think it looks quiate as 'interesting' anymore, any ideas and feedback welcome.
Keep the hat! It's sportsfishers who look too similar, not the two characters. :)
Looks wonderful. Maybe do something about the arms. (btw. what's that green stuff on his arm in drawing nr 2?)
Did I mention that the nose is too red? ;)

Think this is a nice compromise. Lol YES you mentioned that, several times. The splodge is a tatoo, sorry if its not too clear, but it play a part to a puzzle in the game, so there'll be no confusion ;)
Not too fond on his right hand, not that i could do better but.. :)

I agree with the pudding. The right hand seems to be dislocated at the wrist and sagging off into the left... I'd move it a tad more to the right.

Sorry for editing your art. That's the second image I've bastardized. I think I have problem...
The rest looks top notch though. The face might need a little shading though, since the fisherman/shopkeeper is wearing a hat. :)
EDIT: Damn it. I should just set up a website. Can't get it to work... oh well. Anyway, the only things I changed were the right hand by moving it slightly to the right and the left hand by shading it a tad (since it's partially covered by the body).
EDIT 2: Well, I set up a site... sorta... well, not at all.
Lets try again...

I decided to try and shade the guy's face slightly, and I noticed that you can't really notice any of the changes I've made... ::) anyway, I also added a small tint of blue to the glasses so they wouldn't be so white.
that image links to an image in a yahoo mail directory, might wanna try again, or just give us your yahoo password
thanks for the crits, little things like the shine on the glasses are things i didnt really notice, ill sort that hand out too, as i agree its not quite right.
Try to let his arms hang from his shoulders and open up his hand to give him a more weaker look.

good idea mate, as for opening the hands, he'll be behind a counter so im considering just having them flat on the surface.
