2 quick girl sketches. For nothing in particular- i had some sketches lying around for quite some time and decided to put some "colour" on them.

Quite obviously fantastic... Not sure if colour would suit them. But that's just because everything you draw looks great first time over anyway! ;)
To paraphrase m0ds: "Whoa, dude!" Do you mean "put some 'colour' on them", as in 'these are shaded versions of a line drawing', or as in 'I'm going to colourise these'? As m0ds said, don't know that they need colour, but: blonde hair on the left, red dress on the right, and you're sorted.
"Quite obviously fantastic..."
Are you just trying to make us jealous? ;)
(Just realised there's no criticism ..... erm .... they look like they've got antennae?)
Ashen, I'm just an admirer of his work ;) If anyone makes a sequel to Bellville Rendezvous, it should be Igor! I like the antenea style hair, and I agree with Ashen about the possible colourings (blonde and red).

Everything Igor does is in the monotone colors. Its sort of an inside joke, so to speak.
Like m0ds said, they look great as always. I really would love to see some large pieces from you. :)
that is.... oh, I can't think of a word to describe it well enought..
THAT IS GREAT!
one day, Igor, you are going to be approached by some Japanese Hentai/Manga Producers...
(that is a compliment, in a morbid sort of way)
I hope you don't mind, but I gave it a go at colouring it in...

Finally someone who knows hoe to draw good woman....
Brilliant as always Igor!
Wooooo very nice! Your drawings are always so elegant! I don't know how you do it.
I was just about to ask the same thing: how the hell do you do it? Every time. Dude!
I've been trying to draw people lately and I can appreciate your work even more than I used to. So smooth and characteristic. Great work!
I think there could be even more saturated colors but that's just me. You know, all warm colors in the teddybear one and stuff like that. But it depends of course what you were after, right now I get a feeling of watching a photoalbum or something. It's all good.
And notice that these are 2 quick sketches. ;D
There's not much to say about it, though, because it's excellent as always. Maybe the hair strings on the left girl's head are a bit out of place, because her hair style is too 'straight' (or smooth, whataver you want to call it) for it. It does fit perfectly with the girl on the right, though.
Oh, and why is that bear looking so grumpy? It's being cuddled by a beautiful girl for crying out loud! :D (just kidding)

I much prefer my paintover.

Ultimo's is fine if you want a 'done in two minutes' look, however I feel my MsPaint five-hour colour-up has proved that everything I do is eternally superior.
Thank you everyone for feedback and coloring!
m0ds- Thanks! Appreciate it.
Ashen- i don't think i'll really color *color* them :)
Peter- nooo! This would be my nightmare come true :) I never liked hentai... thinking about it, i never liked anime either, hehe. Cute colors, btw!
à šltimo- I think it looks great! If i'd color it i'd probably use whiter skin (and black dress on the right one). Funny how you all pictured it as red. Cool
Pessi- thanks! Yeah, must say i kinda like those sorts of contrasts- seemingly happy scene, but with darker colors. I always felt this give piece a bit edgy atmosphere. Btw, great to hear you are in characters now. Be sure to post some :)
Erwin- Agree about those hair strings, they became some kind of signature of mine, hehe... But yeah, i should put a bit more effort to place them on her head in less dissturbing way.

Aint he a stinker? :D Oh well, i guess furry animal toys just don't appreciate cute girls huging them. Bastards :)
Igor, I checked out your website's sketch section. All items there are really top notch. I like your take on perspective. You distort it just enough to make it fun and entertaining. Sometimes people go nuts with wacky perspective and it's just hard on the eyes. You've got a unique take on it, and it's neat-o keen.

Puh!! Your MSPaint edit sucks.. All the 1337 people know Photoshop is where it's at:

I think I've proven my point.
And in conclusion, I hate you all.
Jesus Ben... look what you've done... i'm BLIND! Blind i tell you! Where are my sunglasses?
Penguinx- thanks for your compliment :)
The way i see it, is wacky perspective just distorted real perspective, so it must be seen through all those bent lines... if it isn't, it will be confusing for player/audience (which is good, if that's your intention, but usually it's not).
yeah - I had a geezer at your web-page, too.
I fell in love with picture-book drawing you did of the girl in that creepy-but-nice looking forest.
It made me want to restart my work on childrens books!
