critique and comments always welcome.
It's very well done, but it'd be nice to know more about it and what it's planned to be used for. For a semi-comic style, it's great. Not so great for a realistic style. Also, there's no apparent light source. Sunny day? Moss looks a bit too leafy.
Looks nice and everything, but it's very difficult to comment further without knowing the context. What's it for? What's its purpose? What are you aiming at?
The fingers look pretty indistinguishable, though, and the eyes seem pretty comically uniform and clean.

No apparent light source makes it look flat. That was the first thing I noticed.

Sunny day?
More like cloudy day. With sun you get strong shadows.
Difficult to comment any more, maybe if you'd supply with pictures from different angles etc.
I agree with Evil that it's great for a semi-comic style. For a moment I was hoping for a 3D version of Conspiracy of Songo :)

Also, great texture work on the ivy.
it is very nice indeed, I like the colours you used. If you post pictures of different angles, they will help us give more useful comments.
The upper part (cut like a bust) looks good and realistic. It's the lower part that looks undefined and strange.
maybe its not moss maybe its ivy
The texture of the stone looks similar on the upper surfaces (top of the head; shoulders) to the texture on the frontal surfaces, making the figure look flat. The texture should be foreshortened towards the edges of the figure. It is foreshortened a little, but not enough, to my eye.
As for the fingers - often statues have solid blocks for the hands with slight grooves in them representing the spaces between the fingers, rather than individually sculpted fingers (which would be prone to breaking off, in any case). You could get away with doing the same - it would be easier to draw and would look more correct as well.
Hey, is that Thomas Luft's ivy generator at work here? Definitely looks like it. :)
I study with him :D
Concerning the statue, really good work in my opinion. You should only ajust the texture a little bit to make it look more random.

True, but at the same time it's the lower part that has more depth and, in that regard, looks better than the upper part.
Maybe it's the white backdrop, but the head looks rather flat to me. Especially the part above her eyes. Same goes for the shoulders.
Other than that, I think it looks great. I like the vegetation too.

i used to use that one untill there was one created for 3dsmax internally which allows you to animate the vine growing
