A couple other characters - work in progress

Thought I would try a few tests with some of the other characters...
A couple more character concepts for the game. Gabriel is the brother of the game's main character. One hell of a paladin, to say the least. Cherudek (the pic is not done, I just wanted to upload before I went to bed!!!) is a Dimling like the smith I uploaded earlier, but of a somewhat meaner demeanor...just don't tell him that, he'll rip your throat out. Heh.

do you scan in your drawings and trace over them in a paint program? Or do you just pixel by pixel them? I've done it both ways before ...

Do us all a favor and get this program! Camtasia Studio allows you to record a window while in use... I am shure all of us want to know your process... If LGM will be nice he might even host it for you...

Maybe it's just me, but when I looked a second time at Gabriel, I thought the flowing shirt outline made him look like he has breasts...

anyway, the pixel version of cherudek, something tells me you just edited the arms - maybe because of the shading :

N3TGraph: Yes, I drew them myself. The reason the arms have shading and the armor does not is because the pic is not finished...as I wrote both in the post and on the pic itself. What do you mean I just edited the arms? As in "they were the last thing I edited" or as in "edited them from another image I stole" or what? Kinda sounds like you mean the last thing, but I thought I'd better doublecheck...can't be too sure what people mean on the internet some times. wow! :o :o all your characters are amazing, i love them, as well as concept art. i think they are very professional.
Just a thing, maybe off-topic: i have seen that your characters have spanish surnames, is your game going to be related in any way to spain?? cos if it is, i could help you with spanish names/ ambientation and so just if you want and/or need it.

Heheh, guess I should have added that this guy won't be moving much...at most he will have a "breathing" animation, but otherwise he'll be standing pretty still. I'm preparing some closeup shots for when you are talking to him.
