I've composed a song and edited it a dozen times already, and it's better than before. I think that's even pretty good song! Still, I want to know your opinion.

Anyways, all the crits would be welcome.

Btw, I've just come out with a name for my game I'm working on -- Welcome to Tallinn. (since a game called "Tallinn" has already created before)

Nikolas

It actually reminds me of a lot of arcade games of the old times. Lovely...

I seem to remember that progZmax likes that style of music, he might be able to tell you something more.

As for my critique, I actually find it rather repeating (the same 4 chords for 3 minutes... with no change.) and one melody over all the other. IT is a bit boring, but this is probably my fault, as I'm probably used to more "complicated" music. I'm not sure if it would be right to have more variation.

And btw, I like the guitar in the end... Nive touch.

Very nice overall

You really made a good point, Nikolas.

Even though it would be an adventure game background music which plays on and on, it really does get boring. (Now I notice it, too)
So should I add some different melody with different chords somewhere?
It's worth of try. I'll see what comes out.

Hmm ... I tend to disagree with Nikolas (of course in terms of musical knowledge I am nowhere near where he is!) but what I do know is that I like this tune a lot and didn't find it boring at all.

Good work and congratulations on this piece. (sorta reminds me of trance music a little!).

Nikolas

You know critic especially for music, works from anyone with any kind of knowledge. In the end we will all get to listen to this and other tracks as the audience  ;)

I wasn't sure that my advice was correct (as I mentioned earlier), but still maybe not a change of chords or something radical, but a very small middle part with just the guitar riff would probably work as well.

Not a huge variation, but it will give the player the sense that he is not hearing the same thing for 10+ minutes (since it is loopable). Or maybe make a better intro (which will again serve very good, after the end of the first loop.) Everything stops and you're back from scratch.

Just some ideas...

btw: To let you know something: I'm stuck with your melody in my mind, from yesterday... It is a very good melody!
