Title: A little tune (work in progress)
Post by: Oz on Sat 27/11/2004 14:11:11
It started snowing, lots of snow. I was inspired by the season! :)

This one needs a lot of tweaking. I know the guitar line isn't very dynamic. Other than that, I'd like some suggestions on where to go with this. Up tempo, down tempo, a beat shift? I'm stuck trying to extend it without making it repetitive and boring...

Oh yeah, it needs an intro. I was thinking along the lines of acoustic bass harmonics. Hmmm.

It sounds great, but I think you try and shift too often, if you get me. It's surprising what a mellow, fairly deliberate section of music can do. Let it chill a bit, put some less busy parts in.

I think you are right. Maybe I should just let it flow for a while. It's rather hectic at the moment.
Thanks for commenting!

Wow, that's really interesting. You could use these 50 seconds as an intro, continue with a more silent part and then slowly build it up again. At least that's what I would try.
