For the OROW game I was making - and still am making - I've been doing the walking loops for the characters.
This is my first attempt:
Standing

I like how the standing frame is, but I'm not fully happy with the animation.
Any pointers?
Head bobing, a bit of up and down action, should make him look like he's moving a bit more.

You have probably blocked 2daventure progz, when the username password issue happened.
As a hint cause this is quite a simple sprite. Maybe have the right arm go a bit more in front of him just the left arm goes more then the right. Looks a bit like a side walking animation just the arms. And as anian says the head should bob a bit up and down. In my opinion the whole torso really should.
But I could not draw that just criticize it. ;D
