Title: A new Background by me. Today: EGA style
Post by: NsMn on Sat 20/06/2009 17:27:53
Hi all,

A few days ago, I wondered whether an EGA-Background is easier to do. So I started this, based on the SQIII style.

I know, It looks a bit like the overview of Phleebhut, but I didi it completely from scratch with Deluxe Paint Enhanced.

Edit: I modified the moon a bit after advice from Babar.

Mmm, the planet seems like have a NeoGeo scanlines effect meanwhile the moon has a complete plain color.

anyway, there is something strange in the ilumination of the moon respect the planet. The planet has no shadows, and the moon is partially-completly in shadows. And the player has the same point of view of the two astral objetcs.

Anyway, a great EGA planet!!
