Made this tune when you meet one of the baddies in JTT2. It's for a short encounter (the scene takes 1 minute or something). Soooo....Do you like it or do you hate the damn thing hehe? :D

Is that just me, or is the file corrupted or something? I certainly can't play it.
Really?!? I tried to download it myself and play it and it worked.
Doesn't work on my pc either
Seems to be a host error, I get a small file containing this:

I listened to it early and it sounded decent. Sorry I didn't comment until now. Just at the point where I started to think this is getting a little repetive you introduced some new elements. It was an ok song definitely a horror vibe. But take my comment for what it is worth; me not being much of a music person.
Hmmm...weird...better find another host then :S
When I click the link, it just redirects me to http://www.woofiles.com/. If you could upload it to another host, I would be more than glad to offer some constructive criticism.
Hope this works, sorry for that crappy link hehe.

;D
I liked it, it reminded me of the RE opening.

Think a little percussion might be in order, but that could just be the influence of the RE tune now going through my head.
Thanks! :) I was actually thinking about adding some drums...and now that you mentioned it, I might as well do it :D
sounds great so far.
the only bad thing i could say, maybe that "piiiing" at the start, and sometimes, is kinda funny, it reminds me of a bad Goosegumps score, but dont know the story the sog is based on, so may be fine as well.
Also, maybe expand the theme with a "bridge" (dont know the term in english) in the middle of the song, or just some different motif.
Bur really great, it makes me nervous and thrilled! :o
thanks :D but as I said...the scene is very short so I doubt the song will last till the cutscene is over hehe
It serves its purpose: spooky and unnerving. The base melody reminds me of
Diablo's Tristram soundtrack (http://youtu.be/Q2evIg-aYw8)
The score is supposed to be subtle. Set the mood for the scene without drawing attention to itself. Keep in mind, the music sets a good mood for exploring the old pirate cave, but not boss-battle with the undead captain.
So whether or not the music is good for the scene kind of depends on what is supposed to be happening when JIMMY encounters SUB-BOSS.
- Cogliostro
That sounds good. But the sci-fi-ish sound effect (0:10) sounds a little bit distracting, though it may fit depending on the atmosphere you were going for. Also dissonant melody bit (0:47) doesn't really fit in the whole otherwise very clear melody in my opinion.
