I don´t know it this could work for somebody, as it is in japanese, but it looks interesting because at least you can take a look to the process, step by step, and, maybe, a caritative soul could translate it into English.
Anyone? :)
Hmmmm...
Not so much a tutorial as a step by step.
Nice to look at, but I don't think it's really going to help anyone :)
Here's a translation for each step:
step 1: no explanation
step 2: no explanation
step 3: no explanation
etc...
When you put the mouse over the image you get some message in japanese...
As I just know to say "thank you","good morning", "1,000 years of life to the emperor" and "climb the Niikata mount" in japanese, I don´t know if it´s an explanation or not...
Holy cripes!
If you would have told me that the end result was an actual photo, I would have believed it.
It looks like a photo that was retouched in Photoshop, not a drawing created from scratch. Really cool.
Yeah, well you are all fooled: the start pic is the last one and they worked backwards from there!
I thought the Japanese read right to left, not bottom to top?
Damn, thats some amazing artwork, pity its in Japanese and no one can translate it. Just going from step 1 to step 2 looks too hard to me.
and there are some steps that look exactly the same.
I wonder if the pic is based on a real photo or a model because it looks so real.
I couldent see the diffrence between the last 20 pics before i came to the end result.
Seems more logical to go from a real photo and tear it down until you got that first image. :)
They could use real talent like that in market tabloids.
"Rosie O'Donnel has fight with monkey, and 3 babies!"
maybe.
hehe, it's not in Japanese, it's Chinese. But it doesn't matter anyway, as there's actually NOT a single word on the tut, so just watch the step-pics and you got it all. (The remaining posts were just comments)
