I think the green may be too cliche,but I can't seem to find the right tone for this guy.

Woah, I definetly like the grey better...and I think I fixed the abs a bit...
his left (our right) arm looks almost twice as big as the other :D
and the abs still dont look quite right. I dunno which I like, grey or green
Why don't you go with the mesh look? Pretty cool. Could be a robot from space. :)

I will get on the arm problem but the whole chest looks strange...if anyone can point it out it will be greatly appreciated.

changed a bit here and there.. note that this is a quick ( read crappy ) edit.

But I basically did the same thing Mage did. The chest looked almost concave, so I expanded it out to make it look more bulky and muscular! I also gave the torso more shape. It was done quickly (so I don't recommend using it) but you get the idea!
