??? ...your sprite isn't shown. Try to upload it again.

It's uploaded. I think that Autopilot didn't choose the "Direct Link" option that imageshack gives.

About the sprite: It's small. It's tiny. I don't know how you would improve it. It's not very 'alien' at the moment.

New and proved alien, props to my mother. She played all those Larry and King Quest back in the day.

I suppose it's functional ... if not overly entertaining.

Try adding some shading, and less "angular" lines (assuming it's not a robot?)

If I have time later I'll do a paint-over (or progZ will beat me to it!)

Ok, I will try to do what you said. Shading is the last thing I do by the way.

EDIT: New front version, added some shading. And fixed a few pixels.

Well.
You've resized the small sprite to about 200%, then painted over it.
The result is (as always) a mix of 'big pixels' next to regular ones.

Did you choose a resolution for your game yet (e.g. 320x200)?

Yeah, its 320x200. But I made him smaller for the game. I made him that big so people could see him better.

The only games I could get my mother to play when I was young, was Super Bomberman (SNES) and Air Fortress (NES).

Since you mentioned the older sierra games, I made an edit using colors from the ega 64 color palette.

1.  Redesigned him with a more interesting pose.

2.  Used the same general color scheme as the original.

This is not really in sierra's older style (it depends on which style you want, sci, early ega, later ega) so if you want to match one of their styles I recommend you look at some sprites from the older games and use those as a reference.

Nice pixelart, Prog.

But if Autopilot isn't too experienced in sprite-drawing it will be a pain for him to animate this I'm afraid.
