Well, been fiddling about with AGS for a few days and decided to take the plunge and design my first simple game!Ã, Heres one of the main characters, Taxx.Ã, Sorry its so small, i'm designing the game in 320x200, and blowing it up really distorts it.Ã,Â
Anyway, I'm fairly happy with it as a first attempt, although I'm not to sure about the lips.Ã, Any advice on how I can get these looking half decent with such a tiny scale?

I'm pretty sure that qualifies for "half-decent" as you put it. Try to eliminate double pixels though. Also, about "blowing things up" you could look at the bbcode and smileys reference. to blow this one up you could try this:
[img width=104 height=136]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v223/jamesCoH/Tax1.png[/img]
This would double the size of your sprite which is 52x68 pixels large.

So only a single line of shading then? Will do.
Do you think theres anything I can do with the lips, given the limited pixel space I have to mess around with them?
No, keep the double-pixeled shading please, I am pretty sure that Haddas means "get rid of the double-shaded outlines"...

I didn't do too much to it, just cleaned it up a bit. Made his belly a bit rounder tho, it looked real choppy.

Me too. I don't really think there's anything you should change. ArboriS' edit was good, take it with you and run! Though that's just my opinion.
