Title: Animation
Post by: BorisZ on Sun 10/07/2005 18:26:24
I've been trying to improve my animation skills last few days and this is what I came up with:

Sprites are stolen somewhere from this forum.
What do you think? Any sugestions / comments? Shall I continue undressing her?

No, please don't continue in undressing her, i want to remember her from the game, not a dirty animation ¬¬ :P

What is this, a guessing game? Please give proper credits

The sprites are from the new Bestowers of Eternity that Dave Gilbert is developing, they were drawn by BigBrother.

Dang, how did I miss that thread?
Was there more?
I tried searching for it, but didn't find anything.

Sorry to hijack your thread, Boris.

I tried looking too. I HAVE seen one of those picture before mind you, one of the team members sent me the Rosa sprite a long time ago. It's an excellent sprite, and hard to judge the animation as it seems to cut out every time it gets going.

I'm on a slow connection, so at first I thought that old woman is going to be undressed. Phew.

The original sprites are hidden in the ACR Thread  (http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?topic=19971.msg254871#msg254871) by the way.

Hey, I really didn't know who made them!

EDIT:
Misread post.

Animation is good, but it does seem to stop for ages just before she moves to undress herself.

Well, I don't think Dave, nor BB would appreciate you undressing Rosangela Blackwell.

As to everyone else wondering about the new BoE, I don't know where Dave posted those on the forum (Probably in the ACR thread), but I see them regularly in our private forum.

And yes, don't continue undressing her. Like Privateer Puddin said, I don't want to be thinking about a dirty animation while working on BoE. Considering I'm doing the music, if that animation were to continue, I might slip some "Bow-Chicka-Wow-Wow"s in the score, haha.

EDIT: However, if anyone is serious about animating sprites like these, we are looking for sprite animators for BoE. Drop Dave a PM if you're interested. Last I knew, however, there wasn't a sex scene in the design doc,  :P

Looks great, I think! Ã, :)
The part where she's going to take off her tee could use one or two more in-betweens though. It would make it look way smoother.

Buh?   :o

I honestly don't know how to react to this.  Please don't undress my characters.  It makes me feel all icky inside.

edit:  the animation isn't bad, though.  I am looking for more sprite animators.  If you are interested, let me know.

Why don't you just undress bluecup? ¬¬

Am I the only one who thought the animation was funny? I must be sick and demented.

the line of her left boob when she gets undressed is wrong

This work demonstrates very little dynamic animation. As far as I can tell, you've animated expressions, a novelty wipe (the ashes don't really fall, they're just converted), and some awkward arm movements. It even looks like you've lost the pixel aspect ratio.

If you notice in real life (and even cartoons) a person (or character) will rarely move just one part of their body. Most movements involve our entire bodies.
