Atapi Teaser Poster - Any Thoughts?

It's a pretty simple poster, and I like it that way.  However, I'd like to know if you think the colors or composition need any work.

The star artwork is fine in my opinion, but the gradient feels a bit out of place - I'd lose it completely, but maybe you could try another color to fade to from black, at the moment it is just this bland standard blue, not too exciting.

And the fonts don't match the picture, they look a bit cheap just placed on top of the whole poster - you could try giving them a light outline so they won't stand out so heavily above the gradient.  And combining two different fonts in two different types is not a very good idea most of the time - perhaps the lower one shouldn't be italic?

This poster seems more fit for a space sort of game. If I didn't know any better I would say his hat could be a UFO. I think you would do better with a forest sort of scene.

XD  I hadn't thought of that!  "My friends, can your hearts stand the shocking facts about fishing hats from outer space?"

In my opinion, this poster does not tease nor make me want to know more.

Maybe because I find fishing hat-type hats disgusting?
Anyway, boring poster IMO. Even though It's quite well done.

Change gradient, fix that chin (?) (too sharp right now) and add more, less bright stars to black area too.
Also, brown strip looks awfully out of place.
