B.O.B new game idea

I thought about some of the games i have tried to make on my own but they have gone
terribly wrong.So i gathered some friends off mine to come up with a new game.After hours
of idas we finally settled on a game called Battle Of the Birds dun dun duuun.

basically you live on a farm in America as a turkey...you get teased by numerous seagulls
which go on about you being locked up and them being free. then one day the farmer
leaves the gate open so that you are set free ...you wander around the streets of L.A.
catching birds to become troops to have revenge on the seagulls.....

so what do you think...editing welcome

You probably have taken more insight into a domestic turkey mind, bút... someone teases you and you organize troops to take revenge? Isn't that a bit overreacting? Besides I don't really like the thought of animals getting assigned such human ways of sorting things out among themselves.

Why not make the turkey break free and organize birds in L.A. to protes against animal slavery. Like gang up in hunderds and drop all their $§!= on the mayor or something...

Or at least think of a real cause to declare a war on the seagulls (I can't think of one right now)

btw. isn't it a bit paradox that your profile says you're 13 and you are planning to design a game "rated 15"?

If you are interested in the topic of animals oganizing an army, I recomend George Orwell's "Animal Farm". It might give you some really good ideas.

Exactly what I wanted to write, but I was too slow  . Besides, if were a turkey and were set free I wouldn't waste my time in freedom to take revenge on some stupid seagulls. I could just walk away.
I really like Albert's idea to make the birds protest against animal slavery.

I agree with all of the above, but I happen to think that this is a pretty stupid idea for a game. I mean, would a turkey really care that much? Personification is all well and good but for goodness sake do it properly.

Also how would you end it? Kill all the seagulls in the world- The End? Kill the 'king' seagull?(Which doesn't/couldn't exist)

Feather Wars : Episode I - The Escape

Gobler is a turkey.  He lives on a farm, couped up between walls of chicken wire.

Every day a band of seagulls fly over and taunts Gobler and his emprisoned mates.  They shout down things like, "Hey fellas, what's for dinner!?", and "Don't lose your head!!".

Gobler has had enough.  He formulates a plan.  A plan to escape this cruel life of abuse!

Gobler discovers that the weight of one turkey is enough to force open the gate to their enclosure.  The only problem is that bird then can't escape with the rest.  So which bird will be the sacrifice?  No, this won't do!!

He cooks up a plan to lure the seagulls into a trap, a trap that when triggered, will use the seagull's combined weight to open the gate and trap them in the enclosure (a little revenge!!).  He figures if he can lure the dumb birds down with a shiny object, he can make the netting over the enclosure fall over them trapping them on the gate release!

So Gobbler asked Miss Witney (the farmer's cat) if she'd be so kind as to fetch him something shiny?  Miss Witney is a compassionate cat who feels truely sorry for the condemned turkeys so she obliges and retrieves for him a shiny spoon.  Part A of the escape plan is in motion!!

But there's another problem ... the farmers dog, Sherriff Thunder.  Thunder is a nice enough pooch, but he's single minded in his dedication to following the law of the farm.   Gobler and his fellow escapees must find a way to out smart the Sherriff.

They decide to make the cows (in the next enclosure) panic into a stampede which will pull Sherriff Thunder's attention away from the turkey coup.  But how to make the cows panic?  Simple!  They know that cows panic at sudden loud noises.  So Gobbler uses the loose board on the coup!  He makes it fall onto the tin roof of the feed bin fight next to the cow pen.  The loud noise will make the cows stampede!

Now all these elements must come together with precision and timing for the escape to work just right!

Will it work?  Will Gobbler and his friends escape their lives of enclosure?  Will this Band of Feathers escape a fate of becoming Thanksgiving dinner?

You'll find out!!

I was thinking it was very similar to Chicken Run as well.

But then, I thought that from his first post.

I was just trying to propose another avenue rather than a 'war with seagulls'.

i actually liked and went along with the idea that he went to get revenge... but what bothered me was how many turkey coops are in LA?
you all have 'changed' his story, and now it is jokingly turned into chicken run. I say he goes on with his original idea, maybe not a long game, but just a game to get done.

Yeah too much like chickenrun and the like... however something about a turkey leading an army of other turkeys against the cackling seagull army is funny... (and not so much unlike quest for the holy grail.... couldn't you see a seagull yelling "I fart in your general direction") HAHAHA

ok here goes...it all stasrted out when i told my mates about ags and ask if they wanted to make a game....we came up with a sims game idea but then we added ideas like gta .after that one of my mates came up with switching a human into a turkey with seagulls as the bad guys and instead of using a gun we arew gonna ghave a net which equips the turkey. ....................................and thats how we came up with the idea
