Background

I just started this background, and have only spent about five min. on it.Ã,  Being my first that I tried on, I want some good ol' C & C:



It's supposed to be an appartment room

its not finished yet..just started

PS.  Door needs to go other way-I'm on it

Not bad I'll say, but the perspective of the doorway is obviously off, since you mentioned you may draw it on the other way, try to bear that in mind.

And making only the corners darker (while all other places are flat with same colours) is a bit strange, but as your pic is still WIP (ie you may add some more shadings), I'll pass on that one.

This is the most I have ever tried in drawing a background :'(

P.S. There will be more shading, I'm just trying to fix some other issues first 8)

okay jon, since my tut was used i suppose i should give some help. i guess you're still using PSP? well, start a new raster and call it vanish or something equally perspectivvy. In the middle of your room draw a vanishing point. All lines should( if extended) join up to this point. this is the easiest way of doing perspective. That way of sahding the corners onl works if you have a centrl light source and everything in the room is shaded in that way. But lookin good so far.
