well, it's more a sprite sheet than an animation, animate it then ask again

I know it looks rough as im using a bad freeware gif animator and its only my second animation

BerserkerTails

It seems to robotic. Chances are if a gun is firing, due to the sudden explosion of the gunpowder the gun would recoil (Spring backwards). This gun has no movement whatsoever, as if the bullets are magically flying out of it. Yet there is an explosion from the front of the gun, so it looks... Well... Wrong.
I make music.

Moox

Your right, I should add recoil to it

InCreator

Yes, storng recoil is needed.
Then, It's hard to believe that gun like that produces so little flame. It's not a MP5! (Get some tips from my avatar)
Empty clips: They fall out weird. I think there should be some variation and they should fly out with higher speed. And flame should light gun a little.
Apart from this, looks ok.

James Kay

Looks like an awful lot of frames for such a little effect. If you're not doing a recoil, just have the gun as one sprite and a series of MUCH smaller sprites as the flame. Even if you are doing recoil, it might be worth splitting the base from the barrel.

Added detail could be light reflecting off the front part of the barrel as the flame comes out.
Also, smoke doesn't dissappear that way (appear up, dissappear down). Try having it dissappear upwards.

Looking cool though!  ;D
