I'd like to hear your opinion about my latest background, which I finished today. It's a somewhat futuristic jail, and this is the hallway:

Suggestions, comments and critique welcome!
Thanks,

Hey. This is pretty awesome. But why is this chair like that?
Wow! Really neat! :o
How did you do it? 3D + photoshop? photoshop only? Ink draw + photoshop?
Is "Br" in "Erwin_Br" a short for "Brazil"?
End of interrogatory. ;D
Maybe you should draw some securiti cameras i will try to make a paint over but it will come out crappy i think ok starting now to paint over

I first draw a sketch on paper and colour it in PaintShop Pro.
And "Br" are the first two letters of my last name ;)

that's beautiful, i love the slightly warner bros style. i agree that some cameras would be a nice touch.
Ok arealy crappy paintover (i just spoiled the room)

See a camera you just have to make it look nicer and fit it in the room
Please don't post BMPs!
Well, I guess you are just showing your idea with that picture, since you did not continue in his style (no shading etc...).
I'd like the camera more as a black object (outlined) in the right-upper corner, that'd be cool!
I agree a silhouette would look good, and maybe a camera pointing towards the exit as long as it doesn't clutter the wall.
Also, to me it doesn't look like the chair's back legs are far enough away from the wall for it to be leaning back that much.
Overall very impressive bg.
the only thing htat bugs me in this pic is the chair. it looks like its stuck to the wall instead of leaning
Looks like it, but the center of gravity is fractionaly further right than the bottom of the legs on the floor, thus it is perfectly balanced leaning against the wall...
I don't use this smiley much, but :o
Absolutely superb background. Puts some of your others to shame...
Is there anything in particular you wanted feedback on?
Like everyone else said, the chair looks odd - for me because the front legs are different heights off the ground, so it looks like it's standing on one leg.
Yeah this background is superb. I like the idea of haing a black camera object in the foreground.
I guess the chair is supposed to be leaning against the wall (or maybe not..?) but it does look a little weird, because you wouldn't normally see a chair like that in this kind of environment. It also looks a bit small to me.
Aside from that, great job!
Great job, Erwin!
Perhaps you should let the chair stay straight, just for the sake of having something straight in the picture. Right now it feels like looking through a fish-eye lens at first sight.
Still an awesome background :)
Thanks guys. I will put up a camera later. There will be a sleeping guard on that chair, by the way. He's leaning his chair against the wall.
I've been playing with the contrast of this picture, so it's a bit more gritty than most of my other backgrounds. I was curious if anyone found the image too dark or something. I'm thinking about editing some of my other images as well, because I feel most of them are too 'bland' in colour tone, and could benefit from some enhanced contrast. (Strangely enough I only have this problem with indoor scenes.)

I love it, but yes I feel the ground is too dark, the chair just morphs right out of it.

Brandon?
is that your name?

I love this background. My only comment is that the floor looks pretty clean for the location...but that could be a stylistic thing.
On the floor I see you have created the shine of the lights, they look cool but they are too dark. If you want to add more contrast to the picture try making them brighter.
Looks really nice, good job.
That is simply amazing! ;D I think there's nothing else to critic but the things that have already been said.
It's pretty good, Erwin. However, you actually should add a coffee machine or a machine called "Doughnut Madness!". :P Great work!

But you have to consider weather theyd actually have a coffee machine in the halls of a prison. Perhaps in the reception or staff room, but not the actual cell quarters.

And besides, it's policemen that eats a lot of donuts not prision personals.
Wow, that is amazing! I wish I could color that way...
As beautiful as ever, Erwin!
The only problem I can see is that the chair blends into the floor a bit. Try making the chair brighter.
