Yeah, just google 'shop windows' or 'store front windows' and you'll get what I was going for.

And yeah the car is probably a bit big, and the sidewalk could be wider.  

It's very dark and moody, and as everyone who's read this thread knows my coloring skills *S to the U to the C to the K* so, a careful recolor is most likely in order, something more saturated.

I might redo this whole idea, taking into account everyone's suggestions. But I doubt it... But I'll keep everything in mind for the NEXT drawing.

How would the cobblestones look if they were laid the other way, like in your example of the Prague road? At the moment, with them horizontally, you could (if you were quite stupid) think it was the rock strata under the ground. This isn't helped by the razor edge line of the curb either.

As for the foot-high windows, I think they are more prevalent in Victorian architecture, which might be helpful if you want to date your street. (If of course it was built in Victorian England).
