Back after a long break. New rooms in the making. Though I'd show some around and see what people think.

I know the perspective might seem a bit off, but keep in mind that this is a wide room and the player will only see a portion of it at a time. Thus, the perspective is a pre-planned compromise.

Looks good overall, but I'm not sure about the thick brown lines around the backs of those machines.  Perhaps a little bit sparse, but as it's a gunnery deck I don't suppose picture frames are appropriate!  ;D

I find myself a bit distracted by the gradients on the far walls and middle section.  They look like they're floating relative to the other flat non-shaded surfaces.  I'd try to stick with one style.  If you're going to use that kind of gradient shading, just remember that light shadows never fall in that uniform horizontal or vertical way.  It splashes in various ways, bouncing off of objects...just try to figure out where the light source is coming from and think about how the light will hit the various surfaces.  I like the way you have those consoles shaded...one side is a little more lit up than the others...they look great.  I'd stick with that style.

The darkened gradient is there to make it easier for the gunnery operators to look at the large wall-mounter targeting screens.
The gradient might be a bit too smooth though, now that I look at them...

Your style reminds me a lot of how I used to pixel.

In terms of lighting, you need to start with drawing the scene all in shadow, than lighten squares, circles, patches of it. But I'd do that by selecting the areas in whatever program you're using and altering the brightness, etc, rather than using what looks like a "lighting tool" thing, which you have now. It's exactly what I used to do and it doesn't work because it can't take into account any objects blocking or reflecting the light.

In general, it seems quite empty. Try and look up some reference pictures. Maybe populate the room with more wires and pipes running around the place - on the walls and things.
