I'd really appreciate some feedback on my main character. This is my first ever attempt at a turnaround, and I'm wondering what issues/weirdness might be apparent. Would also appreciate critiques of the overall design direction.

Thanks!

I do like it, only thing I would change is his glasses change shape when turning.

Apart from the glasses Arma mentioned, I'd maybe decide whether you want to use shadowing or not, because now his head has shadowing but the rest of the body doesn't have any. Just to keep consistency.

His collar is in front of the shoulder when he's turned to the right (4th frame) and I'd maybe move his left shoulder (our right) a bit more up in 3rd frame (the 3/4 view).
But in general, looks really good.

Awesome, thanks much for calling those out. When I get back so time I'm going to fix the shoulder, shade the body, and figure out what to do with the glasses, since I'm not sure weather to fix them in the straight on view or the 3/4.

I'd fix them in the 3/4 view, that way you'll get a more pronounced silhouette (it'll get an extra bump which defines glasses, which adds a distinction to some degree, as in not all people wear glasses), plus it's more "realistic".

On the up-right view pay attention to the shape and position of his right shoulder and arm.  I'd recommend moving them both left a bit and widening them as they are closer to the viewer than the left arm.  I think it's a very pleasing, clean style so I wish you luck with it.
