Hey all! Good to see the forums back online. :)
I was toying around with a guitar sample pack and decided to compose a country-blues-rock tune.
Work in progress:

It feels like it lacks something, vocals?
It sounds great, you got what you were going for, and I think you're half-identifying the problem already.
It has no major lead melody. I can't really see how vocals would work well, although I'm no songwriter. I think whilst it would be possible to add vocals, you should try and saxomaphone solo. At the minute, it's good, but there's nothing that comes out and slaps you around a bit.
/Still thinks it's better than anything he could write :(
Very nice. It does sort of lack a central melody, but I think it's very nice as it is.
Yeah, I think the lack of a lead melody is making it sound plain. I'll be adding vocals later. Thanks for the crit!
:o Whoa, i really LOVE that music.
Can i say the name of the sample pack?
Talk about a bump, this thread is over 6 months old, sheesh!
